GG#4 Bud Structure

Is this typical bud structure for GG#4? Not really foxtailing but like fingers reaching out. First time growing any GG strain and this is an auto.

No

Gg4 IS a clone only..

ALL others are fake ass imposters. It's like slapping a Lamborghini emblem on a fiero.
I wasn't asking the origins as I know it's clone only. I'm asking does this structure look typical of GG? Fingery bud typical of diesel strains. Guess i'll just have to wait and see if it has traits when she's finished.

Sort of hard for people to give you answers with a plant from seed trying to be compared to a clone-only strain.

I'm still very new to all this so sorry if this is a stupid question. I'm currently doing my first grow of a Gorilla Glue clone, and recently took a couple of cuttings that I was planning on trying to treat with colloidal silver in an attempt to self pollinate. Will this not work with a clone-only strain? I thought I'd also seen a few seed companies selling GG seeds, but see that even the creators of the strain aren't offering a seed yet so am getting confused and starting to think that getting seeds isn't going to be as easy as treating with colloidal silver: http://www.ggstrains.com/seeds/

If directed at me, just an honest question - on here reading about things to try so just genuinely confused. Just trying to learn, brother - everyone is new at some point! I figure if I don't ask questions and try things out, I won't know what's possible.

Joesy the breeder probably doesnt like making feminized seeds is why they there is no S1s on his sight im guessing, alot of old timers are anti feminized seeds and Joesy is definitly older. I have ran S1s few years ago from Hammerhead over at ICmag. There was some good ones but non as good as mom.

Go ahead and treat w/ colloidal silver and get yourself some beans to grow out at a later time. I'm not going to discourage someone from making their own seeds. You'll be able to see first hand how the S1's that you'll create will stack up to the original cut you got.

Remember to take some extra cuts from your clone only so you can flower those out too.

Sounds good - thanks Smokebros!

Was asking about bud structure because i've seen clones grown and they're always topped. Never grown a GG strain so i'm in the dark. This was a Fastbuds "GG#4" but as far as this plant goes i'm not liking it. I mean it's not a bad plant, just not what i'm looking for. I'm probably just going to make oil with the entire plant.

No problem Cali Cajun. If you want a little bit of history about the strain and 'why' it's a clone-only strain, the following link is a pretty good read.
Would love to check it out, but don't see the link - if you have a sec later to post it I'll be sure to check it out!

No problem. The article kind of lost me at the end when they start talking about "phenotypes" of GG#4.

To my understanding GG#4 is a "cut", so that "cut" is one phenotype.. GG#4. That part of the article bothered me a bit, but the rest seems pretty insightful.

This shit is crazy!!! All the man is asking is if anyone has ever seen anything like that before...
And you bash him cause it came from a seed and not a clone? What type of shit are you on? People should get off of their high horses and really try and help someone...
