I'm not arguing with you or disagreeing with you lol, I'm trying to say I couldn't care. Yeah I understand people are bastards, but just saying oh don't mind me "I'm a bastard" is just stupid it makes no sense. Why not just try be a bit nicer to new people to the group ? Or if you can't resist been nice just don't bother commenting on anything they say ? Or if your just happy chatting to the same 10 odd people and piss off everyone new that comes along just keep doing what your doing I guess.

It's a qualifying statement so you understand I don't care about your feelings or opinion. Im nice to lots of people but to be nice to everyone for the sake of it is naive and pointless. I'm not the former but, often the latter (and I save my pointless activities for the weekend with people I like).

P.S I said I'm an arsehole not a bastard. My parents did it proper. They got married in a church and everything.

I guess that’s the whole allure of riu. It’s a lot freer and less moderated than most others. Which is good and bad at the same time, cos shit can get pretty crazy. Never a lack of excitement for the most part tho.

I myself go out of my way to treat others just how I want to be treated, in real life and online.

And then there’s a shitload of people who couldn’t give a rats ass who they offend or what’s said back to them.

Just life tho isn’t it.

I agree with that, I suppose the only problem I have is that on one hand people want to have an opinion and if others don't agree with it then they shouldn't say anything so as not to be a big meanie and be unwelcoming. Opinions are fine but should be framed as such and if you're not informed enough or a wee bit too spineless to defend your position then you have no credibility and no valid standpoint.

I don’t think opinions are the issue. It’s the insults that get thrown around when others may not agree or inject their own.

That’s what amazes me the most. The amount of people who are completely unable to have a debate without calling the other person every name under the sun. Like seriously why the fuck is that?

If I don’t agree with someone I might say shit like “you’ve lost the fucken plot buddy” but never you’ve lost the fucken plot “u dumb cunt”. Know what I mean?
