What to do?

Ok guys i know this toppic has been beat like a dead horse but i feel my situation is a bit different.

I have a 2×4x5 grow tent with 4 3g smart pots that pretty much take up all usable floor space. The tent is in the corner of my unheated un airconditioned garage.

My humidity pretty much stays between 48 and 50% (which is ideal??)

My temps tho are regularly 27° to 31°
It is my understanding that 20 to 25 is ideal for flower? (On day 8 of flower. 12/12)

I have a 4inch 176 cfm exhaust fan and 2 clip fans inside the tent and there is a ton of air movement inside the tent.

Now, i know the right answer is get a air conditioner but as stated b4, i have next to zero floor space and couldnt afford one anyway.

Anyone have any ideas or advice on what i could do? I dont want my ladies to suffer.

How about a small swamp cooler outside the tent to push cool air in? Just a foam cooler with ice in it and a piece of pvc to an opening in your tent with a fan blowing into the top of the cooler to push the air into the pvc to cool it some

Thanks for the reply. Would/could that not up my RH?

My lights do run at night and honestly if i move any more air the world might explode!
Very unlikely.
The world will explode if what you listed above about your fan specs is true... Moving more air is the key if your already running at night. Try to be bringing air from outside to the tent, and from the tent outside.

Sadly, i am unable to bring in air from outside or send it out either. My tent is in my garage and cutting holes through my concrete and brick wall is simply not a option.
Ill try to add another fan and see if that helps.

You wouldn't want to put the ac inside a tent unless you were trying to run a fully sealed space. It's better to cool the air in the space you'd be drawing your intake from and exhaust to a separate area.

Beer cooler outside the tent. Ice inside the cooler. Run a 6" inline fan from one to the other. Should last all day. Maybe two? Idk maybe more.

The fans wont do any good, you need more air moving in and out of the tent.
Theres no windows? No ventilation of any kind for this garage? Seems so strange. I feel like it cant be completely sealed... theres got to be a gap somewhere along the roofline or a vent or something

Exhaust through the ceiling. If you're not exhausting outside of the room one way or another you're essentially just running a heater in the room you need to be cooling.

My bedroom is over my garage so thats no a option either.

My house is a side split and therfore 1 side of the garage is attached to the house and above my garage are the bedrooms. I have no windows in my garage and no doors other than the 2 big garage doors. The tent is at the opposite end of the doors for steath reasons.
Id like to move the whole thing in the house but that too is not a option. I think i might try the cooler idea.

Keep looking.. I cant imagin there is zero way to pull outside air. Just keep thinking and get creative. That cooler idea is ok, but your gonna end up buying ice every single day

I once built a cold box, at negative 100c it cooled a 10x10 room by around 10 degrees. And it wasnt cheap to get something that cold and maintain it. I only ran it for like 2 weeks due to cost.

176cfm aint shit. Thats a baby fan. Get yourself a real extraction fan. Moving more air your gonna explode the world? I got a box fan strapped to the top of my tent, 2 mini fans below, and i'm pulling 450 or so cfm with my fan and my tent doesnt even suck in on itself at all.

are the temps inside your garage and inside your tent the same? if so, I think you're fucked. You're gonna need to vent your air outside of the garage through the wall. or somehow. WHy cannot you move it inside?

I was thinking my 176cfm fan was plenty as its only a 2x4x5 tent and the walls do suck in. My garage temps are slightly lower but not by much. And i cant move it inside the house as i dont have any room for it and my wife would have a fit if i even tried.

Oh in my 2x5x4 I run 2 210cm fans. Keeps it nice and cool. But, if you ambient temps are too high, really not much you can do short of extreme air conditioning measures. Maybe get another fan to suck cooler air in. If your walls are sucking in then you could do for some fresh air.

no room for a 2x4 inside? what difference does it make whether it's in the home or garage? its either a crime or not regardless. Does she smoke? If so, does she prefer shit weed?

Did a little test this evening as its a nice 17° out after weeks of ignorant heat.

With Led lights on i opened the garage doors and turned my massive pedistool shop fan on to suck/blow that beautiful 17° air. Into the garage. Note: my garage is 2 cars wide and 2 cars deep.

Starting at 30° and checking temps every 15 min for 1 hour. Temps droped 2° in the first 15 min and held there for the next 45. So from 30° to 28°

At that point i switched off the lights
And again checked every 15 min for 1 hour.
Starting at 28° i had a drop of 2° in the first 15 min (so 26°) then another drop of 5° at the 30 min mark (so 21) And another 3° at the 45 min mark. so im down from 30 to 18° and holding there ever sence.
So by the temps only dropping 2° in the first hour with lights on and with lights out a drop of 10° could i (and those that said so) be correct in thinking my exhaust fan just isnt pulling enough light created hot air out?

Granted i am at the mercy of the temperature of my garage givin my situation but i dont think its been 30° in there.

Cheers.

Most of the time when people have heat issues it is a failure to have a big enough exhaust fan. Air intake is also really important but it can find it's way in passively if your not able to get it.
Def try to find a way to push from the tent directly out of the room.

You'll notice temp changes faster by exhausting the hot air vs pushing it in generally, but do whatever you can.

Party of the reason it was a bit slow to drop is the whole room and everything in it was full of heat. The walls, roof, concrete, boxes etc. As those start to let go of stored heat it will cool a little more more, then pause, an cool more just as you saw.
On really cool nights I do everything I can to cool the entire house and area as much as possible. Opening all windows and using fans. Then at the peak of the cold for the night I'll seal everything up. It's kind of a fun game for me but also means I'm up all night.
