Anyone carry a knife daily?

I mostly have my Leatherman Sidekick on my belt all the time, but sometimes I'll carry my spring assisted SOG Flash 2 in my pocket. I also have a Milwaukee Fastback one handed opening utility knife in my tool bag in my work truck.

I'm not worried when I'm out and about. Not sure why so many are scared for.
Only time I carry a knife is when I'm fishing and camping. Ive got a few knives though. I can understand why some people collect them. Most of the ones you see sold are cheap and nasty and don't hold an edge very well. Similar to kitchen knives.

I carry a Benchmade folder on the regular. It has never been at risk (yet; knock on wood) of being deployed in anger. But as a tool it is a frequent and excellent companion.

The steel is ATS-34 which is, for me, a nice balance of "holds an edge" and "can be sharpened by mortals".

I carry at least one chainsaw, at least one hedge trimmer, a pole trimmer and a pole saw (all Stihl) along with a variety of hand saws and pruning shears in the work van.
Pockets are for keys, change, phone and wallet.

Kutmaster made in Utica NY, is razor sharp, holds a edge. I have three right now, I usually pick them up at pawn shops for .50-2.00$ . I have have other knives but this is what I carry everyday. It's always the sharpest knife in the room..... but I do have Japanese water stones to 10,000 grit.

i don't keep a folding sword, and the primary purpose isn't self protection. i'd just feel naked without my pocket knife. cut boxes, strip wires, poke holes, makeshift screwdriver/prybar/hammer.....i'd need a damn apron full of tools to replace one thin implement that's 4 inches folded, 8 inches open...........you know what i mean.....

For about $20 the CRKT Hammond Cruiser is tough to beat! I bought a bunch on Amazon so I could just leave one in each vehicle. I've got an old school (read:not made in China) SOG knife that was about $100, and the CRKT makes me feel like the SOG is overpriced, it's that good of a knife.
