OK to harvest

Hi, bit of a newbe here. Got 3 auto ducks in my green house. Going on hols Monday but they seem to be not quite there. Leaves are yellowing and I would say 5 - 10% of hairy yokes have gone brown. Can get a friend to mind them for the week but would prefer to chop as they smell now and I live in an estate. Will the smoke be OK or am i mad to chop?

I know it ain't fully ready but do you know if I would be loosing much potency? I'm happy with the the yield at this stage so not bothered about loosing some.

It wouldn’t turn out well at all if you chopped now. You have almost a month left just let her ride and the reward will be most awesome. Any reason other than impatience's on why you want to chop so early?

Just heading on holidays and not mad about having nobody at home with them stinking up the neighborhood. Nosy neighbours and all the rest of it. But sounds like a bad idea so.

She's looking good but still has at least a month to go. If you cut her now the high is going to be more of a sleepy buzz. Like too much cough syrup (IMHO).
You'll also lose some of your yield. The last weeks are when they fatten up and get juicy.
The smell is only going to get stronger so you might want to think about ventilation or a carbon filter.

yeah real bad idea. let her gro, get a bud to take care of it, cut them a half oz when you're done. you'll have more than you do now, of better smoke, even after gifting the half oz as a thank you for keeping them alive (provided they actually do).

If you chop now you'll regret it. Have your friend tend to them. The smoke will be disappointing harvesting now. Don't throw away all the work you've done up to this point and settle for low quality grass.

That shit would dry up into a bunch of hairs bro.. How longs yur holiday? If you're gonna b gone like <7 days you could probably get away with poking some extra holes in the bottom and leaving it sitting in water.
Yo thats a good point. I'm leaving for 5 days in a month, and I just make sure if i know i'm leaving during a grow, to use larger pots so I can drench them the day I leave, and they're usually just drying up when I get back. I can go 4-5 days no problem in 7 gallon pots, probably more if I had to.

Thanks all, decision made will leave them a while, put a tray underneath to stock up on the water and get the buddy to keep an eye on them.

Hi Guys, anybody care to cast their eye on these new pics and give me an opinion? At a high level i have screwed up the grow, buds are very low density, think it must have been too hot in the green house. Now the plants seem to be 'stuck', by this I mean they have changed very little in the last couple of weeks in terms of brown pistels and number of yellow leaves. I chopped one plant two weeks ago as it seemed to be getting spider mites, and some bud rot. Its not great to smoke but better than nothing. Just wondering should I wait or just chop at this point for these two?

OK thanks for your opinion. Will let them go another week and see how they are. Hopefully a bit better smoke than the first one.

One other thing, if you look at the pics I posted on Aug 5th not much has changed. Is this normal or something to be worried about?
