I haven't mixed mine with organic matter. Once your nutrient has broken down, you would probably want to use it. I know bottled organic are similar in production, pretty sure they pasteurize it..

I mixed mine with molasses. Its in the fridge. I should last at least two months. Any off smell and i will toss it out.

Lactobac, LABs, or trademarked EM "effective microbes." Are Lactic acid bacterial cultures made from rice wash water and milk or other lactic acid containing fluid. You are essentially making cheese and then using the Whey to inoculate an organic substrate. LABs increases soil microbe activity. There is also information about how LABs can stimulate a fungal "mat" in formulated substrates, increasing root and fungal nutrient exchange. It is added to organic nutrients in anaerobic or aerobic environments to break down them down quickly. Since LAB microbes quickly overpopulate in both environments, there is a smaller chance of the materials or liquids from becoming toxic or septic.

The smell of many organic bloom nutrients are similar to LABs. The smell isn't terrible, but it's unique.

Lacto Bac "technology" has been used in far east countries for centuries, know as trench farming, or bokashi. Here is a link to a an interesting set of

It is also used in animal farming.

hey y’all

I made some LaB back in February, 5 months ago, should I throw it out? The smell has changed too

LAB serum is good for 1 year stored in the fridge. Activated LAB is good for 6 months at room temp.

Serum - yellow liquid

Activated LAB / AEM - fermented 1 part LAB 1 part molasses or brown sugar 20 parts water

I'm only on here like once every few months or so. This forum is pretty much on life support. If you have questions hit me up on my instagram @hyrootpharms

If done right, LABS can last for years actually..

small mouth bottle being a key.

Adding no other shit to it another, lol.

Perhaps, Try this.. mist 'plant stock A' twice daily with diluted LABS.. watch the speed and health shine.

Then try drench 'plant stock B' with diluted labs once a week..

Then try neither of those on plant stock C, and see what you like more..

LABS also helps fight off pests pathogens and disease. If not using frass and few tricks, its almost essential imo.

Small mouth bottle? Kind of like @Dmannn ’s 2 liter bottles? The jar it was in did have a large mouth.

I also through out the FAA, they were both bad
