Need a new light. Advice??

Hey all.
So found out today that my $449.99 led grow light aint worth its weight.

Id like to know what the people have to say on which kind of light i should go with. And what brand.
It will be in a 2x4x5 tent so fairly limited on space. And more so limited on funds as i didnt expect to be stuck with a expensive light thats barely worth using.

Did you use the light yet? It is likely the light is not all it was claimed to be, but if its what you've got now, run it and get some return!

I have a 400W bulb in my veg room and a 1000W bulb in my flower room. MH bulbs run hotter so I use HPS bulbs in both rooms to keep down the heat.

You can get a complete set-up including timer, ballast, hood, bulb, etc. for about $250 on eBay.

The only retarded thing here is that you and many others learnt science on the back of an exspensive box of diodes and then proceded straight here to perpetuate it...

I on the other hand was a little more open minded after seeing growers struggle to out do hps and re read all the science possible so i could assume a more objective and accurate view.

You hump ppfd vs me where i merely state what science states and that it is not a scale to assume accuracy from.

You said leds were cool and those in hot weather would do well where hps failed vs me who explained how to achieve ambients for all lights and that in hot ambients led is still hot not cool.

You ridiculed the use of ir and just upped ambients vs me who laughs at both assumptions and explains the sun is almost half ir and ambients dont raise internal leaf temps like ir does.

I mean those lurkers will read all these threads and see how wrong a lot of current led advice is.

Move over, hps grower coming through :-)

I've explained to you on several occasions that I replaced 2 600s with 900 watts of cobs while still getting the exact same numbers in terms of weight, but you're too fucking stupid to get it.

Keep dragging those knuckles.

And btw - who the fuck are you talking about? Perhaps you could quote all these claims you said I made? Probably not, since I never posted any of the bullshit you're trying to push.

I dont drag my knuckles and this could simply mean you suck at hps and weaker leds treat you better.

Judging by your plants id say this is more likely than the suggestion 900watts led outgrows 1200watts of hps and not to be a dick but your led plants looked waaaay stressed anyway. To that fact i think we compared my green plants to your crispy stressed ones.

You perpetuate stuff thats all too easily answered by me, bummer...
