Is 80 inches enough height for sativa?

48x48x80 inch tent...that has to factor in the pot and light of course...Trying to decide on a strain to run but I don't want to pick something thats going to stretch too tall...Didn't really want to veg as long as a proper scrog requires...would really just like to top them a few times and some light LST...should I be too concerned with height?

Topping and LST or supercropping and you'll be good.

Learn to start bloom when it will only reach the point you want.

Lets see here; That's about 7 ft eh?

You should try blooming that strain at about 24 inch's. Go from there and do the super crop if needed like Harley said.

Agreed. A larger plant in this situation might not yield as well (quality bud) as a smaller model would considering space and light.

I run Dream Lotus (Sativa) from Bhodi, in 3 gallon pots. They top out about 4 1/2 ft tall. I water/feed everyday..... BIG yields.

Very trippy buzz..One of my favorite Sativa's. Not fussy at all and likes what I feed the Indica's around here just fine.
Runs best in my WOSS's.

I have Ethos genetics...Inzane in the Membrane, Zweet Inzanity, Rawtton, Temple Kush, and Zkittlez x GG#4 (Glittlez)...probably going to start the Rawtton first. I'm probably going to SCROG them in 7 gallon pots...I should be able to keep them under control with that pot size, eh?

Yeah, just fine, I would guess. You could train out a Sativa in scrog pretty damn good in a 7 and under a nice Cobb system (1K+ equivalent) with the space to fill.
