Another serious note. I was gone out of town and plants wasn't watered for 5 days. So when I got back, I gave them a lil heavy watering. That was on Tuesday, and they still don't seem to need water. No signs of over water or anything, everything still perky. But I was wondering should I keep letting them tell me when they want water or just give them another watering since it's been like 5 days?

Awww no response!!!!! I just stick with my gut anyway lmao. So quiet in my thread now. Must be because my plants look so good lol

I think I might know why the would go to the plastic first over fabric. I can only assume it's a moisture thing. The fabric pots are going to breathe better than the plastic ones, keeping the medium moist, longer. Also the plastic, again assuming, will trap heat more than fabric pots, providing a better breeding environment.
I only base this off knowledge I have from my days doing pest control and not from direct experience.

I run them inside. I get them from htg supply. Cheap and work good. I've used them outside to start some of my veggies and they work. I got the white ones. The roots don't get as hot as dark colored bags.

Truth be told, I like running them in the ground outside if possible.

I know I’ve jumped over 73 pages to reply to this (sorry if it’s been said and I can’t help myself as this guy is “well known” and I’m trying to make rank by listening, learning and respectfully commenting)

I too know you’re not a “dumb grower”. Pretty sure you’ve not really grown anything! That just makes you dumb!
