Pure ghost OG+Swazi gold 630cmh Organic grow

Were slowly getting to the end of this grow, and we popped the next set of seeds for the next batch.
They were super quick to pop through. Put them in rapid rooters, and a warm room in the dark and for three days I'm impressed with their growth. I've never used RR before, but so far impressed with them.

Anyone venture a guess if they'll make it to day 70? Im thinking my best bet would be to pick up a loupe to take the guess work out of it.
Only ended up with 2 plants in the end and I don't expect an extremely high yield but it looks like the potency will be there. I'd rather a few oz of quality bud, then a lb of stuff that won't get me high. Kinda looking for the best of both worlds though I suppose lol.

Hey buddy,
Pure African landrace strains like the Swazi Gold can easily stretch for 5-6 weeks after flipping to 12/12. That's why it is recommended do start them directly in 12/12 indoors and also to grow them in relatively small containers to control their size.

Very well could go 80+ days with that being a pure sativa landrace. How much have they stretched since flip?
@NugHeuser - i did have a Swazi in there, but I took her out and put it outside. She was in 7g pouche vegged for a month and flipped, and it was getting too out of control. So I'll let it do it's thing outside. Next time I drop a pure sativa indoors ( if ever ) it'll be in smaller pots and 12/12 from seed I think and maybe some added training.
The buds in question and pics are from the pure ghost OG.( which the flower time says 10 weeks), I thinking your right about the timing and I feel the same in thinking 63 or 64 days should be enough time for them to finish. The Swazi will finish in October sometime I'm sure lol.
The Swazi stretched a ton when first flipped. I'd say an easy 4 ft stretch in the first two weeks? I felt she will probably grow better with no height restrictions, as my tent is only a little better then 6ft tall

Your Swazi would have definitely kept stretching, I think you did the right thing by taking her outside.
It will be ready for harvest very late in the season tho. If you can force her right now by pulling a tarp or taking her inside the house every night, it will be ready much sooner. It's almost August already so you could do some light dep for about 3 weeks and then it would keep flowering.

Outside seemed to be the best place for the Swazi. Im going to do exactly that, give her 12hrs dark and 12 hrs light and will just continue to move her until the days get closer to 12/12. Right now it's probably closer to 16/8 and I'm thinking she might reveg. If that happens, it'd never finish before the frost and cold show up the end of October early November.

Pure ghost is fire.i grew out 10 of them and kept #8.it was just to good to let go.they were all good but this one just stood out on smell and trichs.
It's an 8 week plant on the nose.ive ran it 3 times already.only 1 out of the 10 I had went over 8 weeks.

One thing for sure she looks like she wont be much after the stretch but them nodes swell up and she stacks up nice.
@Heisengrow - beautiful plant man, looks awesome. I haven't managed to get any colour from mine yet, the odd stem is going reddish/purple but that's it. Today is day 46 for me I believe so I'm not sure I'll get the deep purples like that.
The weather local has been low 30s close to 40 with the humidex the last few weeks and I run my light cycle at night when it's cooler and I haven't been able to lower my dark cycle during the day much below 30 and I hear lower temps help with colours.
Question - will a plant that's at 12/12 get stressed if the temps never drop low enough to signal fall is coming, or is 12/12 enough despite temps?

Haha that's a beauty, I'm running the pure ghost as soon as I get doc holiday, and humble pie out of the veg room.
Thought about crossing pure ghost with Blackwater on this next run too.

I dont think temps stress the plant at reasonable numbers but if you want trichs and color it's best to keep a lower day temp.
For sure man, I'm gonna have to work on getting some AC in there soon. No sign of temp drops the next week, of course . Ya can't win with mother nature, too hot in summer, cold in winter and rain and humidity in spring haha. Can't knock fall too much, it's pretty much the only season that cooperates
Ghost x black water sounds like a good cross. Do you have a journal going now ?

Thing 1, thing 2. I like it lol. I hear ya man, always have to have high hopes when it comes to this game. This is only my second grow, so you've got 12 years on me.
I had a quick chat with hiesns two days ago, and he said that pretty much all of the ghosts that he grew out were very similar in colour as the pictures he posted, so I think you'll have good luck. I've been having trouble lowering my dark cycle temps, so I haven't been able to get much colour out of mine yet. there is some purple stems and leaves, but not as much as the above photos haha.
2nd grow and playing with some nice genetics, that's what's up.
For years when I was a teenager I just would save seeds from some brick that smelt sweet and had a good buzz.
Results were still decent.
Untill 50 bud hit the scene!
It'll be getting cooler outside soon, ldk if ull have the time tho,IMe those colors really start to show towards the end of thier life cycle anyway, the start gettin a fall look..I also like taking my plants out for a fresh rain, or if I want to utilize the cool temps.
Yours are looking nice tho, how's the yield coming along?

Just read something where they genetically tested Ghost OG in 28 dispensaries in CO and only 3 were the real deal.
nice looking plant though!
