Is it ok to water again?

Hi everyone , 16 days ago I transplanted my girl into a bigger pot and overwatered heavy and she was in shock from it too for a while. Anyways she’s bounced back to about 70% healthy but is experiencing a zinc deficiency, I know this from hours of research and the symptoms and was caused by the new soil I put it in so the PH might be out and also because of the excessive watering.

(Btw growing in some organic soil in Australia with perlite, indoors under LED)
The next step it says to do is to flush it with correct PHd water and add light nutes and some zinc chelate, now I know watering is what caused most of the problem and being a large pot it would likely take up to 2 weeks to dry up again if I watered till runoff so I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with zinc lockout/deficiency and if I should drench my pot again and correct the PH (that’s if it’s even out of Waco it might be fine) or just water a couple litres only and see if she recovers in time? He’s a pic of her on the mend from the overwatering/shock after a bunch of pruning and lst.

Also one other question , what do I do about all the bunched up new shoots from the zinc problem? Would they branch out for when the problem is fixed or should I prune them off ? It’s a big bunch of twisted compacted shoots is a few places.

If the soil you transplanted into 16 days ago is a quality soil then there should be no deficiency of zinc in the soil.
If you water properly going forward the soil PH should be OK if it is a quality buffered soil.
I think flushing would be a mistake.
Just my 2c others will have different opinions.

If the soil you transplanted into 16 days ago is a quality soil then there should be no deficiency of zinc in the soil.
If you water properly going forward the soil PH should be OK if it is a quality buffered soil.
I think flushing would be a mistake.

The soil was decent I found out about it on a few other threads from Aussie growers that use it , the problem where i think I went wrong was I maybe added a bit much epsom salt into my mix before transplant and fucked up the soil PH , I thought adding it would be good haha but from everything I’ve looked into on a lot of websites and threads about the zinc deficiency is that it is mainly caused by overwatering and corrects it self with less watering if PH is correct too. Now I probably shouldnt have flushed going by what I read up but I panicked and did it just to be sure which is pretty lucky I did as the PH was way out.

It’s been about 40 hours since the flush and although there are very minor signs of overwatering as expected the rest of the plant is starting to bounce back , the growth has fired up fast surprisingly and nice green is returning to the leaves and all the new shoots and leaves are coming out how they are supposed to be not all twisted and fucked like when the zinc was locked out.

Il post up some pics in a few days when she starts looky healthy again. If I don’t then she died haha
