1st Drying & cure in a heatwave

Am growing in the UK and the summer air temps are 28-32oC - 82-89f)
1st Grow 1st post, grow was straight forward (2x tents - soil)
All i read and watched was explicit on keeping humidity from 55 to 75%rh in drying box/room but not as explicit on keeping temps low. (Neither did I guess how Fucking pungent they would get while hanging).
my my house & drying box temp went high in 32oC heatwave and grass/chlorophyll smell started. Worried about neighbors I closed the windows. when i got home from work (box temp 29c RH75) that was during hang dry. That smell only just started to subside 4 weeks in to cure.
Bellow is how I will correct it next time for those who have same problem or 1st harvest

I chopped way too early. I'll flush until she has practically eaten herself yellow.
I have filled and froze 10x 2 liter drinks bottles and will keep drying box temps as close to 20oC as possible ( bottles at bottom of drying & curing boxes)
Aim was keep drying box RH 55-75%
Now I won't let RH go above 60%.

I have bought a hygrometer for each jar and will keep in pitch dark and temps no higher than 24oC. Pref 20-21c. (I'll follow R.I.U posted advice for R.H.%/burping I just fcked up temp)

Dude hang the whole plant untrimmed ideally 15-20 degrees 60% humidity, hanging whole plant will slow tings down, will take roughly 10 days to dry. By day 10 will be smelling sweet as, cure for couple weeks minimum to improve.

No worries. Another thing I do which works for me really well is that I give them normal watering the day before I cut them down, this way they will be more moisture within the plant which also will slow things down nicely.

I always chop semi dry, trim and hang in a dark room between 18c-22c and until I'm down to about 70% rhu (in the jar).

Then I give a minimum of 2 weeks in a jar with at least a burp a day and voila works great every time for me.

Hope this helps someone but I might just be mumbling now because I'm so baked haha

Thanks all for the advice! I chopped and hung the 2 girls (rqs cookies & red deisel) as was in the tent. I had two big storage tubs in there with towels suspended in side tub with h20 and frozen 2l bottles replenished before and after work.
Managed to keep humidity aprox 55-65% no problem but temp was more difficult no matter how many ice bottles. Guess the small fan was just circulating cold air up inside the tent. The two strain were next to one another cookies kept dank smell from then till now!! While Red D (freebie seed) got the grassy chlorophyll smell at same time?BUT both smoke as strong AF so all is GOOD in land of span (the chlorophyll smell is defo going during dark 20c cure). Guess freshness of seeds and genetics have something to play.
Gonna pick a newer gentic strain for next run. Before next harvest am gonna turn cure cabinet and see if a lower height dry area with a small fan can maintain a lower temp better. Hopefully be able to try that in next week. Will update result. Cheers all really appreciated happy smoking!

Just an idea. I use a separate smaller grow tent to dry in.

The chlorophyll smell has gone,from every thing but red diesel. (Must have mixed bubs B4 its a weak smoke). But all rest have come out fine. Best bag appeal was triched out cookies fruity n gassy too. best toke defiantly Ami (well worth the wait). Cold +Dark +Time. Thanks all for input.
Cutting & hanging a basket case of a white widow next week. Will see if temps can be maintained wit fans blowing through box (no A/C available)

Sifted some of the less fragrant Ww buds + fan leaves and made great cakes. I'm guessing the unpredictable nature of smell might be why so much product is made from perfectly good bud. I'm happy. (Nice light & happy head high with little effect on function) get lemons...
