I just bought a hydro farm 8 bucket ring drip system and every single plant I transplant in there kills them. I used Botanicare grow. At 1/3 of the recommended dose. I have no clue what’s going on
Fuck you bro. It kept saying not able to post so I continued to try. I didn’t know it was gonna post a billion times. I see yours went through twice so I assume the same happened to you. Don’t be a dick. You think I would intentionally post the same thing that many times.Dude quit reposting this shit. If it works exactly as it should, how are we supposed to have any idea what's wrong?
neither do we without details.I have no clue what’s going on
Okay so I got a 4x4 tent with 1000 watt hps. Inline fan with air conditioning. I have a hydro farm 8 bucket top feed system. I used 1/3 of the recommended dose of botanicare grow pro a little super Thrive. But when I got the system it was used with a lot of salt buildup. I rinsed them out but I guess I should I have scrubbed them clean. I’m not sure if all that salt is killing them or what. My ph is around 5.8 or so. Fluctuates a little bit not much.neither do we without details.
I’m steady at around 76 degrees with 45 to 55 % humidity. I don’t have a Ppm meter. So that is a necessity for hydro?? This is all completely new to me. I think I may have screw up with the water as well. I didn’t realize how much water the damn thing took so I used about 14 gallons of drinking water. And filled the rest with well water. If you have the time to give me a rundown of what I need to do or change or anything man. The guy I bought the shit from said the botanicare is ph perfect nutrients. But again this is all new to meheat inside tent?
ppm/EC?
water source?
root rot prevention?
pH is 5.8. are you sure meter is accurate?
botanicare pro grow has organics in it. switch to different nutes. check out GH maxibloom and maxigro instead.

absolutely! get an EC meter instead. you can find a decent one for 30 bucks on ebay.I don’t have a Ppm meter. So that is a necessity for hydro??
root rot will kill a plant faster than just about anything in hydro. southern ag garden friendly fungicide is what i use. also on ebay.what do you mean root rot prevention??
. I’m just gonna drain the whole thing. Clean everything really well and start over. If the raise the light as high as it goes will that be okay.Could be too intense of light for brand new rooted clones.
All I have is 2 led panels with 3 plants in flower. So can I just raise the light as high as it will go??you'd be better off with a smaller light anyway for veg. save the 1000w for flowering when they need more light and you'll save a ton on electric bill. HPS isn't the best for vegging anyway, too much red, not enough blue.
sure, that would work too. i'd put at least 24" b/t bulb and plants maybe more like 30"-36"All I have is 2 led panels with 3 plants in flower. So can I just raise the light as high as it will go??
