If the stem is cleanly broken in two the games over, if it simply bent then the tubes that transport water and nutrients (phloem and xylem) are still connected then it can be saved, supported and hopefully keep on growing. Its completely snapped in half and I'm now to growing and don't really know what I'm doin
Duct tape the stem back together add honey to wound b4 tape, they bounce backI'm week 6 day5 in to flower and the wind has snapped my plant will u buds be OK now if I dry them out or will that suck....not all the hairs have started to brown
I wouldnt use electrical tape. You ever wrap something with it that you hande a lot? the glue always leaks out and all over your hands after use, gets all sticky. I cant imagine a tape that does that would be great for a plant
but this is all speculation Maybe electrical tape is great!
Don't just straight tape it up, use a small stick or popsicle stick as a splint to provide more support. Its just about hanging on so I have used some duck tape to see if it holds if not then lol
Iv used a little piece of bambooDon't just straight tape it up, use a small stick or popsicle stick as a splint to provide more support.
Use twisties to hold it together. It happens all the time. Of 3 plants I have in full flower all 3 have been split from aggressive supercropping. Including a White Widow with about 2 weeks to go. Split the main stem right down the middle from where it was first topped as a young plant. Twisties and a dab of Tupelo honey. Honey not necessary! Its completely snapped in half and I'm now to growing and don't really know what I'm doin
Be glad it happened because it will not be the last time.It seems to have picked up so I'm hoping it OK
