My friend simply amazed me yesterday! Just imagine, he meets me, shows the hashflare site on his smartphone and says you may get hashflare codes here right now and save money off BTC purchases! I didn't believe my eyes, buy BTC and save money? But it's possible, it really is.

I would still buy amazon as a long term investment, a safe investment. solid company that continues to innovate and bring new services and products to the mass global market.IKR? Everytime I saw the price jump, I thought of Fin. I also then think about when I was thiiiiiiis close to buying Amazon when the IPO was $18.

bitcoin has seen long term growth overall. personally I invested 10k into it at one point and made 5-6k profit in couple days when it surged at its peak. like a plum instead of selling I kept on holding and very shortly I was down 2-3k. kept my nerves and held on to it, still was able to sell for 2k profit after weekend passed. it was a bumpy ride and not one I enjoyed...... :-s

I was standing in line at a quite well known Tapas Bar up the road from me. There were 2 Americans also waiting so I started talking to them (that's what I'm like). Anyway we ended getting a table for 4. They are from Northern Cali and he has a Med business. He said he could do some business but COULD ONLY BE PAID BY BITCOINS. Got their number!
Apart from that, I've known people to make and lose money on Bitcoin. ICO in particular. (Initial coin offering)

God, it's a huge pain that the market is red for such a long time. I lost so much money... So I won't ever deal with crypto. Going to try investing in p2p lending or something like that. I've already managed to figure out some p2p strategies so it shouldn't be hard to make some money this way.
