Node spacing

Seems like the nodes on one of my plants are super close together to the point where the plant is no longer growing up. I am using a viparspectra 400 with some supplemental lighting with two 42 watt cfls and one 14 watt Phillips led. Should I just go with the cfls as this is the first time using the Vipar? What about adding the bloom light? will that help with a little stretching?

Both seeds are bubba kush from the same plant (hermied my first grow, kept the seeds, and have used them many times with no problems)

So you want to stretch the plant out a bit? Lift the light up and increase the distance between the source and the top of the canopy. That ought to do it. So you really need the extra lights. I don't think so but but it's up to you.
How about some pix? A picture speaks a thousand something...I forget what. Lol.

Light is about 24-25 inches above top of the plants. can't really get them higher. I'll try and post some picks tonight.

I was using 380 watts of cfl's in previous grow with no issue's. Should I just use some CFL's to veg and then use the led to flower?

I would say don't worry about it because once you flip it it will stretch. If your present lights are the only options. Kill the CFL and little LED for now. Fluorescent makes for compact bushes.

I was going to top it a few times but with how compact it is it looks like it's going to be a struggle. I only managed to top it once so far. Should I veg it out with about 200 watts of CFL's and when I flip go with the Vipar?
