FoggyDoggy... I stopped watching television on 09/11/01. I do not own a smart phone. I own a flip phone with texting and calling capability only. I allow myself two hours a week of internet time on the table laden device that I am writing from now.Horse shit
How many roses to Nazis would have persuaded them to go home in peace?
The distraction due to electronic devices is under your control. In many ways, people who use them do so because it keeps them in touch with others far better than the land line phones and snail mail ever did. I choose to not own a cell phone or smart phone but understand why others do. The only time they earn my disgust is when they pull out the phone at the table and ignore the people present in front of them. If it were necessary to own a mobile phone for business purposes I'd do so. I'd have to find a way to set boundaries if I did.
I read Power vs Force by David R Hawkins which acts as a field guide to understanding our own applied kinesiologic response. Information at every level can be "calibrated" by how our muscles respond to the incoming information. Guy spent 29 years of his life doing the research and it's an absolutely brilliant way of processing the information around us.

The mind is biologically, scientifically and electrically incapable of discerning true from false. Proven fact. Regardless of the informational source(ie: electronic, word of mouth, in print, what have you), our muscles on the other hand can and do differentiate truth from falsity by way of how the information assimilates through them. When something informational is empowering to us our muscles respond by holding fast- in that the positive information was literally "strengthening" to the body. Now when information is false, indirect or non-empowering, the muscles respond accordingly and weaken.
So having gotten involved and continued my kinesiologic response education I started "calibrating" incoming information and the results were astonishing. Simply put: very little of what's circulating is empowering to us, period.
My world has been a much happier and harmonious place since I started "calibrating" everything. In fact, something unforeseen has happened within my life...
When I started living every step of my life for The Greater of All, from the inside out NOT from the outside world-in, I found myself meeting other people of other walks of life who see what is happening and have made our world a better place by their own example.
Only those who are a part of the solution... calibrate and are empowering to us.
That said, I would like to reiterate that UncleBuck's posts simply don't calibrate as being empowering to anyone.
