Hi guys, I currently have 1 600w in my grow tent that's 1.5x1.5x2 meters my plants are in week 3 of flower I was wondering if putting another 600w hps in there would make much of a difference or is it too late in the cycle? I was thinking after the stretch has stopped would be a good time, I dont think temps will be a problem I have a 600w and a 1000w oil heater in there at the moment and the hottest it get is about 24°c when lights are on and I have a pedestal fan blowing 8n the room with a 6" extraction fan, I just wanted to know if it would be worth the extra $ in power and if would increase my yield much? It's in an rdwc system

Yeah mate i was prob saying more than anything that the stuff I've grown that smelt fruity wasn't a gd smoke but stuff that has finished a long cure and smelt fruity was a nice smoke and that same stuff never smelt fruity at all while growing

My fav nl strain was a real mix of coffee/fruit lollies smell but the coffee dominant one was the most knock yer dick in the dirt smoke

I quite like c99 and that's fruity as fuck - certainly not a knock you down stone though. Good hot summer day smoke. You can still get stuff done, go to the beach and that sort of shit and not feel like a piece of dough

And that's what's good about having access to many strains to grow.
For instance my wife smokes sour kush when she wants a long session in bed but she will smoke pineapple chunk when she is just looking for pain relief.
I need to keep this sour kush around for sure ;)
I dont need to smoke to be ready for a fuck .....

haha I dont need a smoke to fuck either - makes me a bit too lazy normally but thats her problem

Clone it. S1 it. Do whatever it takes to keep that line going. It may not be all Sour K that'll do it to her.

If your canopy is larger than 3 x 3.5 (feet) then yes add the other light. id do it now and not wait. If the plant canopy is around 3 x 3.5 then its probably not worth the extra light.
A light mover might suit you to..something to look into at any rate.

Well cali cannon number 1 that showed so much potential in the early stages is gone now. Chopped her and the smoke is fine but she went full herm in flush. Started popping not just bananas but full on ball sacks on the tops of buds.

Chopped her this afternoon to salvage it and spare the others from pollination.

Cali cannon number 2 is still going strong and has showed no hermie traits yet but it also isnt showing any signs of finishing anytime soon either

That's not good. I was reading something somewhere today by someone who thinks "flushing" can cause a plant to stress.

I wont be giving any of that to my wife..she is always up for it as it is. If she had her way id be chained to the bed on a drip feed.

I've had strains that keep throwing white hairs but not the c99

That was the lower yielding pheno but its my wife's fav and it's prob almost my best in terms of taste,smell/terps,And type of high

I didn't take cuts as I cleared the bottoms over a few weeks cos I thought she wasn't gonna be a decent plant compasred to the yr before

I heard there's 3 phenos but the strongest for flavour and smell was the o.g leaner and this to me looked 90% o.g

He one the yr before was no slouch either yielded huge but not quite the same more sativa/dom in most aspects.

Shit happens still got enough jars not to panic of that strain

Had a 3 pack so I got one seed left.

I think I'll retire her to the farm for one more go...with clones no matter what

Of course flushing stresses the plants that’s the whole idea,your not “flushing” anything out of the plant your trying to starve it after you’ve flushed the leftover salts from the medium.
