Anti MMJ Politicians

Snyder was so against recreational that when the petition hit his desk 2yrs ago, he wrote a new law to make the signatures invalid so he could trash the petition.
You may want to check into the reality of that statement. The six month signature petition limit has been law, via precedent, my entire lifetime. The audacity of your buddies (NORML lawyers) negotiating MMFLA secretly out of the back rooms of Lansing at the exact time they pretended MI Legalize 2016 was actually a real thing is outrageous. I call that legal malpractice, personally. Imagine my surprise when they then joined the Democrat National Party to play politics heading into the 2016 elections instead of the recreational ballot initiative ...

Wrong sir, wrong!

the 180 day limit was always there but always a soft limit. Signatures can still be proven to be legit and those of registered voters.

Until Snyder shoved thru SB776, eliminating that route for legal registered voters to have their vote counted. He then specifically fought to have it enacted immediately, not in 2017 AFTER the current set of cannabis bills were dealt with.

Either you are FAR too young to be on this site, or you are incorrect about the 180day limit on petition signatures...

Snyder fucked us, and when he was asked to postpone the bill, it became VERY clear, his entire intention with the bill was to kill rec cannabis.

I refuse to lie back and accept any kind of defense of Rick Snyder unless is from an attorney legally required to defend him in a court of law for the mass poisoning for profits he arranged for Nestle.

@Flagg420 I believe there was a higher court decision following/clarifying that bogus NORML argument/appeal. I'd have to agree and call that codifying precedence of law standing for the past half century.

Regardless, you've missed my point on the exploitation of political ignorance for personal gain completely ...

Regulatory capture is a form of government failure which occurs when a regulatory agency, created to act in the public interest, instead advances the commercial or political concerns of special interest groups that dominate the industry or sector it is charged with regulating.[1]When regulatory capture occurs, the interests of firms or political groups are prioritized over the interests of the public, leading to a net loss for society. Government agencies suffering regulatory capture are called "captured agencies".
