We lost on average 40,000 people to gun deaths in this country every year. That is more than we have lost in the last 16 years of war in Afghanistan and Iraq combined.

So don't sit there and say we have 340,000,000 people to absorb the killing so it's not that bad...because that's EXACTLY what that kind of bullshit says.

Let's say we have a room with 10 people in it. I walk into a room, shoot 1 person in the head and walk out.

Now then, that's a 10% rate or a "per capita" rating of 1 in 10.

Now lets put 100 people in the room. I walk in and shoot 10 people in the head.

Now then, that's a 10% rate or a "per capita" rating of 1 in 10.
