I believe the nra connection is a main reason GOP has lost all spine... they know that dirty russian money has helped em all
I think the GOP has really bad leadership and values but I see them outnumbered and not without spine.

They have plenty of spine fighting against healthcare or for tax breaks for billionaires, but when it comes to country over party many are compromised from dirty russian money funnelled through the NRA...

Read some of michigan med grower's posts to get an idea of what they are like. and what Democrats are up against.

They are cowards, needy and unethical liars. t they never accept fault or consider anybody other than themselves. There is no level below which they won't go.Their own needs will be paramount regardless of cost to others.

She’s pleading guilty to espionage
That's ridiculous.

All we know is that it appears she's reached a plea deal as they've asked for a plea hearing as soon as possible.

Since she wasn't involved in any conduct even remotely resembling espionage, it's all but impossible for that to be the case.

Frankly, your statement is beyond stupid.

At best, she's probably going to plead guilty to campaign finance violations and interfering with an election. Both are pretty serious crimes. Even if her deal gets her out of any jail time, she can rest assured her days in the United States are over. Permanently.

An agent of the Russian government pleads guilty to campaign finance violations and interfering with an election isn't committing espionage.

Thanks for clarifying.

Been watching comedy videos on y-tube looking for a laugh, but I’ve found the RIU political page is by far the funniest shit out there. If foreign agents tampering with elections isn’t espionage what the fuck is?

Definition of espionage

: the practice of spying or using spies to obtain information about the plans and activities especially of a foreign government or a competing company

Espionage involves trying to obtain secret, classified or otherwise protected information. That's not at all what she did.

All she did was make contact with certain GOP officials to aide them in winning elections.

The former is punishable by death or life imprisonment. The latter, not even close.

So you are saying that she never reported back on the results? "to obtain information about the plans and operation"

Our faux lawyer is heading off to the deep end again. Just like when he claimed a person could be arrested for a "Fuck Trump" bumper sticker.

She was a spy for the Russian government, she committed sabotage on the election and of course she reported back any information she had. Has she been charged with espionage? OK, you can split that hair if you want but you'll have to pluck it from your own body. I'm not buying.

At one court hearing, prosecutors showed a photo of her dining with a Russian diplomat just north of the embassy just before that man, a suspected intelligence officer, left the US amid a purge of Russian agents.

So the goal was to help the cons win the election. Why cause she hates ACA and SS?

Could you at least try to make a coherent argument?

It's well known why they did it to anyone save the most egregious idiot:

Trump not only removed many financial sanctions that the Obama administration had placed on Russia, he also refused to implement new ones recommended by the state department.

What's more, by reneging on the deal with Iran, he helped Russia's oil become more valuable.

Trump has done a great deal for Russia. That's the whole endgame everybody keeps missing.

The story isn’t what she did it’s about the why? Oh right fake news nothing to see here just agents from a hostile country helping the corrupt and compromised Trump win, all because she was bored and needed something to do.
