Jiffy pellets

Has anyone used jiffy pellets to germinate and grow seedlings for a rdwc system with any success? That's them in the image if their called something else over seas, I believe their made from peat sphagnum moss

i used them with my first ever DWC with a lot of success

Did you just put the plug in to your medium or did you get rid of the jiffy pot before you put it In your medium?

I just put the whole jiffy plug in my medium.

They will work but tend to disintegrate and end up in the solution. I use rapid rooters-they don't fall apart.
