Purple punch giving it a go .

hi to all , just thought I would put this pic here , only 2week’s old . Seem’s a little slow , by the size , our sun in uk is about gone now for this year , good while it lasted though . Grew a small one on my window ledge recently , I don’t really know what it was called as I found 5 seed’s in a small amount I aquired jan 2017 . I put them on top of my radio and left them there , decided to put 2 in a pot each , may ‘ this year , cut a long story short , put 1 in mate’s garden , and grew other on window ledge . Cut the top when it was flowering , it got to 17 cm high , and had 13 whopping great bud’s on it . It was better taste and smoke than the weed it came from . This pic , I put on window ledge just to take picture . I will now put it under a small led , first time doing this , day’s are getting darker here very fast , so I thought I would try led . Don’t do lights as a rule , so a bit of a contradiction going on here with me, as I am organicus , lol thank’s

No it is not a project , l bought 3 purple haze seeds , there were a couple free seeds . In the pack , a free purple haze and 1 purple punch , so I will see what come’s of it hopefully.

I think this p punch is auto flower , I know the p haze are , that’s what I ordered , so I would have thought that the free seeds would be same as .

The only purple punch I know of is by Symbiotic Genetics. I have their mimosa strain in veg right now. Ive never seen them do an autoflower collaboration yet. Thats why I was asking if this was a self project.

I am new to buying seeds if I am being honest , my older sister is an original old hippie from the 60’s 70’s I never really had to worry about seeds before , I could have what amount I asked her for , she has passed two year ago . Aparantly the purple punch has grape , berries , sandlewood something else what ever . I guess it will be a fine smoke.

Yeah I figured it wasnt an auto. Its a photoperiod. Nice freebie nonetheless. A tip, if youre new to seeds and you hear of popular strains you might want to grow make sure you get genetics by the original breeders at least.

Nowhere in the description does it say its an autoflower. I looked at the autoflowering and feminized section and the autoflower section they all say auto with the name of the given strain. Purple punch says feminized not feminized auto.

Thank you for the input , you got me going now . Do you think my purple haze will be auto ? When I bought them , they were advertised as auto , not the punch , I did’even think I would get any free one’s , but one would assume it to be auto like the straight haze .

Please mate , I don’t want to bore you with this , but , when seeds arrived , in side the pack was a very small clear plastic tube with one seed in side, on the tube was a small sticker , saying purple punch , fem , you can see it on my pic at the top of the page. Make sense , many thank’s mate . You were spot on . Mean’s this seedling is going to take far longer than I thought . What I will do ,is when it gets to 25 cm I will completely black it out to 12s , I do that a lot , lot less yield but , I will do one every two week’s for four month’s, l barely run out of stock this way .

That's one stretchy seedling, begging for more light, might need to slice a mcdonalds straw down the centre, top to bottom and wrap the straw around the stem

No problem man. Every grower on here was once where you were (even me). If you have more questions I dont mind answering. And yes blacking it out for 12 hours should initiate flowering on that purple punch. Its a lot of work if youre growing in a tent especially with autos to black it out LOL I know Ive done it. Peace.
