Big Friday night heyOver a dozen used needles found today...
HahahahaBig Friday night hey
I give them a heavy watering then wait till the following day and dial them in to that moisture level.Hey OzCocoLoco, got the Blumats on order but would like a little more info around dialling them in as in roughly how dry to let the soil get before setting them to drip of you don't mind?
You going to go with gravity feed or pressurized ?Thanks mate, much appreciated
That's one of the benefits of them, they are a versatile systemGravity feed mate, I was trying to get away from relying on power/pressure and less moving parts the better.
I'm in Coco so that might be a better idea if you are in soilHell yeah, your original post got me looking into them, love the way they can babysit for me basically. I was thinking (before I asked you) of giving a good watering and then setting them to drip around day 3 or 4 after the drenching so the plants still had to work a little.
I’m getting some.... I’m going to need them for this next big run I reckon I’ll break my back gettin in the back lolThat's one of the benefits of them, they are a versatile system
Before you order let us know and I'll find the details for the place I got them from,he's got the best prices I could find.I’m getting some.... I’m going to need them for this next big run I reckon I’ll break my back gettin in the back lol
They have a really cool moisture meter you can buy aswell not cheap but it's trade qualityYep, going full organic soil so will take your advice and move it out another day and then I can dial it to fine tune from there
I used to use a bit of 20mm conduit with a Coke bottle taped to the end like a funnel for watering the hard to get ones, was ghetto as but did a sweet job lolI’m getting some.... I’m going to need them for this next big run I reckon I’ll break my back gettin in the back lol
This I need to find, also a roll of tubing going by the first few pages in that link you put up before.edit:They have a really cool moisture meter you can buy aswell not cheap but it's trade quality
Yeah nice I did the whole garden hose into a watering with a hose clamp good for a while til the seal starts to leak and if hold the hose wrong it would fuck out lol 20mm conduit way sturdierI used to use a bit of 20mm conduit with a Coke bottle taped to the end like a funnel for watering the hard to get ones, was ghetto as but did a sweet job lol
Those moisture meters are useless,I just go by how heavy the pot feelsThis I need to find, also a roll of tubing going by the first few pages in that link you put up before.edit:
Just checked it out, would be a little costly for a few of them, wonder if the old cheap moisture Meyers would be worth it (the 10$ ones on the bay)
nother edit
