Hello All,
This as a few of you know is my first grow. I have made some BIG mistakes. Ie actual wattage from LED and vegged too long as I didn't take into consideration the stretch when I flicked lights to 12/12. Height is def a problem for me.
Anyway... enough ramblings..
Week three just completed and flowers look awful. ( see photo ) Aware its due to the lack of light, but currently I cant afford to upgrade just yet.
Chop or keep?

They don’t look bad being in 3rd week of flower. But clearer picture would help to acess the situation. You should see some bud development very soon, if the stretch is over. All Plants go through stretching during flower. Some more, some less depending on the strain. So just hang on and give them nutes with abundant PK.
Happy growing!!

Latest photo ( taken with lights off ) Flash used. Just starting 4th week flower.
What do you all think?
Those look pretty good actually! DO NOT CHOP!!! You're overthinking it... they're just getting started! they typically don't even show flowers until week 2 of 12/12 (or whatever your light schedule is after flipping to flower schedule). Just grow them out- will likely take about 7-11 weeks in flower to finish out as good as possible. Get a magnifying loupe (~20X) and watch for your trichomes to start looking milky/cloudy. Post along the way for advice during flower. Then harvest and dry slowly. Do some reading here on how to dry and cure. Very important for overall quality of finished product! :blsmoke:

Thank you for looking and for the encouragement.
As I'm a real newbie I do overthink/worry which I know is a bit silly. With all you good folk from rollitup helping me, I feel a lot better. I am real thankful that I have come into a very knowledgeable and caring group.

They are looking great. How tall are your plants? Can you bend branches down so your lower nodes get more light along your branches?
Thank you for the message, advice and vote of confidence. Unfortunately my plants are definitely too tall. I vegged them way too long. Around 7 to 8 weeks at the least. They are about a metre tall. I have used super crop on the tallest stems/branches. Tonight I am armed with a ball of string to bend the tall ones.

Try not to super crop after week 3 of flower, string should do the trick, add a dose of silica a few days b4 you start bending, strengthen cell wars and makes em flexible

If you look at my grow log most recent updates you'll see I weighted my branches down with pipe cleaners yarn and water bottles. Over a 4' foot spread on it. You don't have to bend them real far at one time. You can do it gradually. Once a day or every other day. Cannabis is very pliable more so than some people realize.

Thank you for the message and vote of confidence. I give about 20% less nutes than required or specified. Perhaps the lighting?

Mistakes are the basis for knowledge. I remember having many that outgrew my space.
They look waaay better than my first attempt.
Good luck and keep learning!

received_233913067294252.jpeg received_1749266455172485.jpeg 20180716_134117.jpg This is what meant about tying it down and being very pliable. Here my girl tied down while training her. She's probably been defoliated 3 times in the process and is about to get another one since I just put her under the scrog. I may still have pics of her branches bent down and sideways following the outer circle of the bucket.
