First post! Water question.

Hi.
Been growing in soil with no problems.
Now i'm gonna try dwc next time.
Is my water ok for dwc, or should i invest in a RO system.
According to my water company i have 8 °dH.
My readings are (tap water, 24h from tap):
Water temp: 25.8
Ph: 7.8
Ec: 0.35
PPM: 177
I have ph-up and ph-down if needed.

Thanks!

I use my tap water. Im on a spring fed system. No chlorine. 150ppm
6ph out the tap but rises to 7-8ph over night from the release of carbonic acid the ph settles at its natural ph... But il just adjust it a few times over the day and the rest of the week its fine.

It may help you to go to your local hospital or real estate agent, and get a watrr sample kit. And send it off to get tested.

are you on a well or city water that has chlorine?
