Here is a good example of an angry emotional person, engaged in politics. What do you think the cause of this anger is? How can we help people like this have peace and thoughtfulness?
I think anger in politics is a complicated issue. I'm constantly amazed at how each side displays hypocrisy so I've given up on both parties. The current anger on the left seems pretty self explanatory, the right knowingly nominated and elected a man of despicable moral character after raking Bill Clinton through the coals for an intern blowjob. Add to that the he was not expected to win and the cognitive dissonance is similar that experienced by the republicans when O got his second win, except O was expected to win so Trumps win is probably even harder to deal with.

Unclear to me what it will take to bring both sides back together, but clearly Trump will have to be gone. There is nothing being done that cannot be undone. Dems can take over and go to 11 supremes, or 13, or whatever it takes. Presidential dictates don't mean much when not in the form of law. Trump has shown us this by wiping out much of what O did.

Right now the battles seem to be taking place at the extremes of both parties, so until the battles are more for the middle, anger will continue. Just my 2 cents. Let's see who gets offended that I gave my opinion, lol.

You seem intolerant of intolerance. But I think I get what you're saying and agree with you.
Tolerance is tolerating others before ones self.
Free will is a choice. It takes 2 to tango. I give everyone the right to their own free will. Mutual respect is something society as a whole, is not at all aware of.
I do not subject to anyones rule. Nor do i ever want to own them.

I can tolerate who you are. Are you able to tolerate me?
What if i tell you, i don't at all agree with you?
This is not intolerance on my part. Its honesty.

Why should a civil person tolerate racism?
Because racism is being intolerant towards someones skin color, or ethnic background.
Intolerance is a very, very jealous feeling.
My heart goes out to intolerant people.
You can accept this part about me. Or simply accept we differ, and leave me in peace.
Be kind. Be peaceful with others, and yourself as well.

So, I should tolerate lynchings?

What about intolerant racists?

I accept you for who you are and have no trouble tolerating you or anyone else I disagree with. So perhaps we do have some agreement? Either way, be well!
