Thanks for all the replies everyone. I may have been a weee bit misleading in my original post. Just wanted to see what people had to say about about this particular light. We all have grown and grow under different lighting. I know I personally have for years. At 52 I planted my 1st seeds at probably 13 or 14 in my bedroom closet. That is until Momma found them. Lol. I then had to grow outside. Then at 16 had my own place and started a grow under a bunch of fluorescent fixtures with 48" fluorescent gro lux tubes. Then moved on to a grow with a bunch of 150w gro lux bulbs mounted so far apart in homemade reflectors. Harvest and even revegged under them and kept 2 mother's for clones. We could go on about this. Point is this is suppose to be about LEDS and their lighting. I am new to LED growing, but not growing in general. I didn't just jump in and buy a LED light like some people have and then was disappointed about the results. Like anything I do, I fully do my research. I know all about the different brands of COBS, QUANTUM, DIFFERENT STRIP LIGHTING and K values. Which is why I'm hoping to do 2 builds in December. I actually bought the light because of my disability budget. These 2 plants were vegged and trained under 3 13w CFLs and a 4' foot 33w 150w equivalency LED Shop Light for 42 days until my light arrived. Pics don't lie, they thrived under it in 4'x4' foot space. They did so well, after taking clones I bought a 2nd one the following month. Like I said on a limited budget. I do plan on doing a couple builds by the end of the year. (Easier than building a model car) lol. What turned out to be a bummer was when 1 of the 2 plants ended up being a male, and had to trash it and it's clones. But still have clones from the other one and just took more recently as well as just started some gorilla glue #4 along with them for the next cycle. A little beat up at the moment with my neck and back injuries from transplanting (Bitzy) as my wife calls her from a 5 gallon bucket to a storage tote and then putting the female beast under a scrog net by myself. Just to give you a size, she has over a 4' foot by 4' foot spread and the scrog net is 6' foot by 5' foot. If you all want to check out the grow from seedings to current they are in my grow log.. Not 1st Grow, But 1st LED Grow. Thanks all for replying. Just wanted to let people know they can grow on a budget and then eventually upgrade. But of course they still need to utilize different techniques, than just putting it in a pot and expecting good results. I personally prefer training, defoliating, others prefer topping, fimming and other things. We're all different in all styles but with the same goal in mind. Good quality herb... Happy Growin' All.....
