White leaves?

So I have posted on a few other websites to try and get some help with this issue but no one has been able to give me any advice at all so I thought I would try “Rollitup”
This is my first grow and I was looking for a little advice.

I have 3 plants that are about a month and a half old, and in my opinion they seem to be growing very slowly. They are in some generic potting soil and under a 600w led (full spectrum 24/0) in a 2x4 tent. I am giving them about 1/3 tsp of “FloraNova Bloom” per liter of water, also have been keeping the ph around 6.0-6.5.

I also started these plants outside and brought them inside after 2 and a half weeks, they have all been topped and seemed to be somewhat happy until I noticed the bottom leaves starting to turn almost white. I was also having a problem with nutrient burn. I have only seen two reasons for white leaves so far and that has been a mutation in the plant or light bleaching. Someone here may have some good advice for you but starting at the bottom I doubt it would be bleaching from your light source

I have only been watering like every 3 days after about 3 inches on the top is dry. And that leaf was the newest growth, the other side fell off so removes this one to even it out.

Okay, so I did raise the light the other day, it is at about 18” I am guessing. If that is the problem why would it only be the bottom leaves changing and not the top?

Also above I said I was giving them floranova bloom, I have been giving them the grow not bloom

What is the growing medium? I see splinters and actual wood chips.
That looks like Kellogs potting soil. They should have cooked that batch longer!

That stuff is still loaded with pine tar and tannins. It's still slow cookin, breaking down and releasing whatever into your soil. Mostly growth inhibiting chemicals, not beneficial nutrients.
That probably holds water like a sponge too. I'd repot in to anything else, then see what happens.

I have some ffof and 5gal smart pots for my next grow, but you said repot? How would I go about doing that?

Overwatered? lol..op never mentioned prior how much he's watering and only pic shows the dirt bone dry lol. wow, then light bleaching? At the bottom of the plant only?
Im not sure how you couldn't get help on other sites for this. First off, you are using floranova 'bloom' and the plant is vegging? a 4-8-7 feed during veg for 6 weeks? It can work, but isn't ideal as phosphorus should be kept lower than nitrogen and potassium during veg. A 2-1-3 ratio is ideal. The only element that can cause that is a lack of nitrogen. It may be starting to lack that, if the yellowing moves to the next leaf, which it may be, hard to tell, then its lacking nitrogen. The other possibility is that since the plant doesn't appear to be trained, that leaf is getting no light and the plant is shedding it. If the yellowing doesn't progress upwards, then it was likely that. On a seperate note, the plant obviously had a battle with bugs while outside..did you make sure to check that they were completely clear of bugs when bringing them in?

So this was just a trial run with some bag seed that I really never intended on seriously growing. I am starting some seeds that I have ordered after I can stabilize my grow tent. I know this soil is shit. I have ffof for my next grow. I know the soil is dry, because this picture was taken right before I watered. Also I have been using floranova grow “NOT BLOOM” and I am almost positive the issue was airflow. The yellowing was spreading up so I have added an exhaust and intake fan and it has brought my temps down. Pretty sure the only problem was airflow. But only time will tell I guess. Also my humidity is pretty low, ranges from 18-23% so I’m not sure if that’s really a big deal but I was planning on buying a humidifier as well.

Yea, just get off the loose material without going overboard and plant it deeper to smother whatever else is growing in there .
Get it out of the planter and a couple shakes, brush off the top material without trauma to the root ball.
Lightly water it in on the sides for a couple days,fresh FFOF should have nitrogen available your plant needs.

I would add Mykos when transplanting, it would thrive in the woody pulp thats that is still in there. And use kelp juice instead of light nutes for a bit if they were my plants. Just till they start looking perky.

I agree. Part of what makes kellogs rep so inconsistent. I have a plant in a newer batch of kellogs soil same type of chlorosis happening at the oldest leaves. The poorly composted wood blocking uptake
