I have 3 & 5 gallon gabric pots. I'm wondering if I can put seedlings into 3's then do transplant to 5's before or the start of flowering? Super soil of course. Thanks in advance for your comments.

Start them in soko cups, then goto one galon pots then three then 5.
They dont mind getting transplantd, but if you put a little plant in a big pot..... They will be sitting in soggy soil for too long because they cant drink that volume befor you feed em again ...
So they suffer and dont grow as fast.
Do what you want but id be up potting. As they call it .

If your using fabric pots, the roots might stick and make it hard to get the plant out. It's a pain...

Cut the bag or directly replant the whole thing . Id make some slices tho.

The 3 & 5 gallon Geopots actually have a Velcro seam.
There is no need to go from 3 to 5. Once the plants roots are established, you can smack them in anywhere. I plant multiples in 45 gallon pots.
- Rapid Rooter/Jiffy Pellet (your plug of choice)
- Small pot/Solo cup to let roots establish
- 5 gallon pot

Thanks guys, good views. I’m gonna pot up,as soon as seeds pop & have had a couple of weeks in their 1st pot. Fabric pots are a pain to transplant due to roots. I have 1 5 gallon air pot. Could that be used from start to finish.

I can agree that fabric pots are hard to transplant from but nothing beats the fast growth and better root health from them!

Jumping 3 to 5 seems pretty pointless to me.
I'd skip the threes, honestly.

I like 1 gallon, then 3 or 5 gallon, and then into the finisher which is 15 or 20 gallons!
