Bud dried/died?

Hi.
Closing in to harvest and i noticed that a couple buds seems like they are dried to the point that they are crispy, no smell (more like hay). No fruity fresh smell like the other buds.
What should i do? Chop them after harvest? Or chop now?
Guess they had come too close to light.
Pic is the one to the right.

Hmm, cut down in nutes about 10 days ago. Maybe problem is what i topped with fresh soil since the some roots became visable when watering. Have newer used more than 1/2, 3/4 strenght during all time.

IF you have the same problem I had it was just the strain didn't want the feeding that others in the tent did. I harvested early. Here is a pic.

Those are FAT buds....I'd be checking for bud mold if I was seeing dry areas/browner areas. A tell tale sign in usually brown guard leaves for no reason....and at that point inside the bud there is often mold. Just a thought. Good job.

Mold is an idea. Will check. I have had big problem with humidity this summer. Bought a dehumidfier but maybe the damage already was done.
Thanks! My first grow and learning all the time.

I've also had this on my chocolate mint colas a few places, similar super hard dense nugs, but wasn't mold. I think it was related to p or k, but not sure... it eventually progressed inward and a few calyxes also turned brown/died (only on one side of like two nugs). Wasn't a big deal in the end.
