Lights went off for a hour!

My lights went off today because i was at work and the missus was out anyway when I got back from work I noticed that the electricity was off and my plants had been standing in the dark for around 1-2 hours anyway I flew round the shop and put money on straight away then rang the missus and and gave her a earfull purely because its her job to put money on the gas/electric. So it was around a hour or 2 max before I got them back on again would this affect them in anyway?

Might have shocked it, just keep the timers at their normal time and make sure all dark times are 100% dark

Doesn’t matter at all. Take it easy. You just dont want the dark cycle interrupted or you can get stress issues and possible re-veg.

Clouds and storms and eclipses happen outside. The plants don’t explode. :-)
Top stuff cheers buddy, So all is well as long as the dark period doesn't get disrupted? I thought with the lights been off would trick it in to thinking there "asleep" then the lights back on few hours later I thought it might off messed the up a bit.

They just won’t have photosynthesis while the light is out. As soon as it is back on they will start growing again.

Now an extended dark period could stress them. But I have had power out 2 days with no bad effects.

Going dark during light hours isn't bad. It's going light during dark hours that will get you. Like the guy above said, clouds, shadows, and eclipses all happen during the day. You'll be fine buddy

Top stuff cheers buddy, I've done a little reading on it and everything matches up to what you have said with lights off while lights on are meant to be on is ok but it's the dark period that shouldn't be interupted.

pro tip: put that shit on auto pay
Don't think we have that here in the uk or I would off done, The missus got a smart meter fitted when we moved I'm which I was a little skeptical about, When the lights are on the dial shoots right up, Scares the shit out off me it's got me thinking the electric company knows what I'm doing with the 12/12 intervals.
