Well i like the way they all sound!!!
Also, finally got around to picking up a microscope
got it from RadioShack for $13!! says it magnifies 60-100x..ill see if i can get some pics thru it tonight..Attachments
i havent looked at many pics lately but it looks like afghan or AI. But AI is a mix of afghan and NL so that could be it. Its got characteristics of both, but the leaves look distinctly afghan to me. Im starting a CFL grow with some nirvana AI later this week, i hope mine comes close to how healthy yours is looking right now. You reassured my confidence in CFL's.
Also, I might have missed it somewhere obvious, but how many of what CFL's are you using wattage and spectrum wise. And any noticeable difference in your electric bill?

Sounds good to me! Always wanted to try some of that! We will never know what it is but as long as its good and its your first grow so YAH!
p.s. good luck taking pics through the scope ....... I cant see how you might do that unless you use a camera phone and shove the scope to it ...... ?

Cfl's currently there are 9 in there currently.. mostly warm white and about 2 or 3 daylight bulbs in there theres only 1- 43w warm white...the rest are 20w & 23w...
Not a huge difference in electric.. i swapped out all my other bulbs in the house to cfl's tho, simply because theyre energy savers..lol

I'm a retard!!! LOL, i purposely didnt get stoned when i got home cause i was all excited to look thru the microscope...not easy!! LOL...i def had a hard time..did get some shots..not great quality AT ALL....but ill put em up anyway...

lmao you were probably better off getting stoned that way it would be easier to hold the scope still ... lol I like the nug pic! as far as the trich pics .... looks like a yeti in a snow storm .... lol but at least YOU can make out the trichs now!

LMFAO dude...i can still barely make em out..hahaha i hafta clip a leaf off and sit it on the table...otherwise i cant keep my damn hand still enough to focus the thing!!!! Ridiculous i tell ya!!
But i figure hey..i'll take samples as i go...this way i get an idea of exactly when i wanna chop my next grow...and try to line up what im seeing thru that damn thing with the high i want!! LOL...i guess practice makes perfect... LMFAO

Ya when I was first using mine the plant was in the closet with the fan on it and it was moving around as I tried to focus and look at the trichs .... lol it was IMPOSABLE! lol Then i took it out of the closet and put it on a desk to try to look at it and I was still to blind from the light in the closet. SO then I put on one of those led camping lights you put on your head as I looked through it ...... then iwas like WHOOOOO HOOOOOOO! I can see. It looks like you have the 50x - 100x try using the 50x first it will be easier!

LOL...i wasnt even messing around with the 100x...and ur right bout being blinded from the lights...lol
the other night i walked outta the room right into a support outside the shed cause my eyes wouldnt adjust..if my neighbors were looking they're def thinking im a hot fucn mess..lmfao!!
time for some sunglasses i guess...

So last night I decided to pull a Tdblu09 and smoke some of my curing stash .... anyway I have it split into 2 glass jars. 1 jar with the best nugs and the 2nd jar with the left overs. Anyway I am only dipping into the left over jar for now and the first time I smoked it about 1 week ago it was good but not great so last night I smoked some and
Dam .... maybe it does get a little better when you let it cure a bit longer and dry out good. Still smalls like chlorophyll and that bums me out but its getting better. Looking forward to smoking the good jar

purple kush clone I got from buddy. After researching it I found it was more of a head high and I wanted a body high so I tried flowering it a bit longer so sence i have yet to try and of the main colas ..... well ya I still need to try one of the main colas to see if I harvested at the right time - 9 weeks - but I think its going to be more of a mix head/body. I will have to say this though it is a pretty tolarable plant! I put it through hell and it was a champ! lol

LOL...thats like my plants..my dog knocked it outta of its pot like 3weeks after it sprouted..that lil girl still pulled thru... im convinced that less may be more with these plants..
9 weeks....i'd be in trouble having to wait that long..hahaha was just checking out Nirvana again they have that "top44" which u can harvest at 6 weeks...sounds like its right up my alley
