Here’s my layout..My green house is attached to my house, and so the cellar windows are at floor hight with the greenhouse. Then my GH has two skylights, and 8 large 4’x9’ painted white windows at a 80 degree angle...
So i was reading on the web and came across an article about light leaks, well being I’m a newbie i didn’t thing this aspect through thinking ok i covered most areas and switched to 12/12 this past Monday.
I’m in there with the lights off today and sure as shit i see how back I’m leaking light..
so i covered the plants with a tarp, hit all the glass with black paint and cardboard from the inside, completely blacked out the skylights and hung up some tarps to block the large window panes even tho they are painted white.
So my question is, I’ve most likely set my plants back another week since i had a larger then normal light leak?
Second, i can’t without massive work to the large glass Black it out, will it prevent them from going in to flower?
Also no i left the tarp on and I’m thinking don’t take it off until late tomorrow night.
Can anyone tell me if a little light is all that bad?
