Seed Problem

Hey guys! Got a pack of autoflowering seeds, I usually put them in a cup of water till the root comes up then plant but this time I put them in water for 4 days and nothing came out. I took the seeds out and theirs a crack on each of them with a greenish/blackish root showing!! The seed was very moisture! I planted them today. Do you think they will pop off or they’re dead??

I'm thinking drowned seed but keep an eye on it, I've had seeds that wont pop and put em in the ground and a week later
Up it comes. I prefer the paper towel method myself from experience I seem to get a better germ ratio like 99 percent.

Overnight is one thing. Four days is another. But like others have stated plant them and see.

Checked them today!! I think they’re going well
