It seems that most of the people I talk to and I think some people on this forum as well, stop smoking when they eat edibles. I know my wife is like this as she is worried if she gets too high it will trigger a panic attack. The strangest thing I find about that is she quite often complains she just cannot get high enough. Myself I try to consume as much from the time I wake up until I finally pass out. When I eat one or even two of my potent cookies or a cap of cannabis oil, I still keep smoking and smoking. I really find at enhances the high magnificently and most days now I have ZERO pain.

So now I am very curious if most people do not mix smoking and edibles, or if the just keep on puffing.

I keep on puffing dude. Once I ate like 500mg at one time and I was too high for about 10 minutes so I stopped smoking for that 10 minutes. But mostly I find it hard to get high enough even taking edibles. 150mg gives me a slight happy smile on my face that is about it.

I know what you mean. If I eat a 1/2 cap of oil I may not smoke for a few hours after I feel the full effect, probably just because I do not have the ambition to roll a joint.

Personally, I find Im affected by edibles to varying degrees. I am extremely sensitive to sativa effects and get hugely hit with anxiousness/mild paranoia when I use sativas. This includes edibles. I tend to favour Pure indicas or hybrids that are no more than 20-30% sativa.

Ive been taking edibles daily for the last couple of weeks and started really low and still haven't gone past about 70-80 mg/day at this point. The edibles Ive been taking have almost 1:1 thc to CBD in them and Im fairly certain made from an indica source. Last night at the end of the night I took a 10mg CBD gummy with a 10mg THC gummy (after taking edibles throughout the day) and this added 10mg THC made me super uncomfortable and anxious/paranoid.. I went back and looked at the package and it said "sativa".. missed that. My point is that I can consume the tiniest bit of sativa either in edibles or smoked/vaped and get super uncomfortable vs much higher doses of (mostly) indicas and feel great with no ill effects. THis is based on all kinds of edibles and strains. It's just weird how we are all affected differently by slightly different plants/uses.

I also find that edibles that contain both THC and CBD don't hit anywhere near as hard.. which I like.

I find CBD from Indicas is EXTREMELY tiring. Like 12 hours later I wake up after taking 50mg and feel like a bag of shit for 1-2 hours.

CBD is known to have a modulating effect on THC receptors (antagonist). That is one of the reasons I am working an 1:1 strains, so people who want medicine that does not get them wasted can benefit from it as well. I prefer sativas but I honestly never noticed much difference. Sativas tend to make me more energetic, whereas Indicas usually make me lethargic. Hash is still my go to though.

I got a 1:1 20:20mg from a BC dispensary. Give me one hell of a hangover if I take 2 or more. Indica based.

I get no effect from edibles whatsoever. I smoke and vape continuously from about 5 am till 10 pm when I go to bed. Oil dabs and hash tokes and lots and lots of joints.

Both. Although admittedly edibles don't work on me. I've gone as high as 800-1000mg and nothing. Also, THC aside edibles aren't usually healthy for ya in the quantities I have to try and eat so I dont bother anymore. Eating half of a 9X18 tray of brownies at a time gets old quick. If I keep it up ill be replacing Wilford Brimley as the spokesperson for diabetes.

NO SUGAR????
That is no fun at all. So my Mom was diabetic and my Dad was hypoglycemic I am in the middle and I have abused my body with sugar all my life. I can have my cake and eat it to, so caps and cookies for dessert, LOL. And I cannot seem to gain weight.
