1000w LED Light assistance!

So I’m about to buy a 1000w led light and just wanting to see what people think and recommend anything that could be wrong with it. This is my first time getting a proper light so I am a total noob at all of this. Thanks
The Ad states “LED Quantities: 100pcs 10W LEDsAvg. Power Draw: 135watt”

The reason I post this is because I am somewhat paranoid about buying as I’m not also sure if it will truly be what I am buying seeing it’s online so if someone could just give me some feedback that would be amazing. Thanks

Run away as fast as you can.
Don`t look back.

Tell us how big an area you want to illuminate
& how much $ you have to spend
& someone will recommend an honest light

A 1000 watt light that actually uses 135 watts is not honest, it screams cheap & nasty

Yeah I realised that ahah thank god nah I ended up getting a 450w Viparspectra light seems a lot better and more legit! Thanks tho

I can cancel the order that’s not an issue I have a budget of around $150 and need LED as it’s tge easiest for setting up etc so if you could recommend a led which is good that would be nice. Thanks

It draws 200 watts from the power point.
It is a 200 watt light sold as a 450
Much the same as the 1st light you mentioned (cheap & nasty)
Would you recommend something else? I’m currently using a 50w MH light which is working but I feel I may need something more powerful. Again I am able to cancel the order. Would you recommend another LED which is true to its word? Thanks.

what is the area you want to illuminate? (this is important)
$150 is not much to spend on a light, maybe the cheapies is as good as it gets

It’s a wardrobe grow space it’s really small most I can fit is two plants in there but it’s a tall wardrobe but just not a big space around 40cm length and 50cm wide and it’s around 170cm tall so it’s pretty small but gets the job done

So heat is going to be a concern in that space, as is height. Whats the min and max ambient room temps or have you an AC in the same environment? Led's as far as I'm aware need a little more canopy height and a HPS may be to hot in there. DIY LED strip light and a Scrog maybe worth looking into??

The min temp is around 18 degrees and max it can get to in the wardrobe when the 50w MH light is on and the door is closed in the wardrobe is around 25 degrees. I do have an AC and can just open the door of the wardrobe so it can have cooler air from the room. The hight surly shouldn’t be an issue it’s over a meter high but I am still in my first grow and still learning so idk .

You ask a question in the forums, and then pull the trigger on a shitty light before getting any real advice? Good job.

But seriously, if you can return that thing . . .

Oh, and start referring to lights by their actual wattage.

Look it seemed better I’m not sure I saw lots of people from YouTube who were using it and had good results and outcomes with it and lots of good reviews on it for people who have done small grows so I thought it could just work for me

If it's all you can afford, then it will work for the small space you're using, but it's not optimal at all.

Where are you located?

The trouble with wardrobes is they trap the heat, its hard to get good circulation. Height will be an issue as by the time you hang everything and add pots you wont end up with allot of plant space to work with. 50W of MH may be OK in early veg but its just not enough light for decent flower, which you probably already know. Adding more watts will make the heat level rise in the wardrobe pretty fast so going HPS may not be a wise option.

Lots are recommending QB so maybe look into those and what they recommend for your space and what the canopy to light recommended distance is. Grab your pots, work out at what height the light will hang from and measure the growing room between.

There is a micro grow section in the Indoor forum, may be worth having a look in there and see if someone is growing in something similar and see what is or isn't working for them.
GL.
