Question about flushing

You have over fed. Leach the Coco, not with plain water but with a weak nutrient feed. Then feed at the correct amount.
I don't grow in Coco so that's all I got- sorry.
I must have fed nutes at about a third of what was recommended everywhere. Like around 1ml/l at the most, as I hadn’t fed it before I didn’t want to go crazy! I guess one variable is my water, from the tap is crazy like 600ppm containing god knows what! RO system is a couple hundred quid though, and I already shelled out on bloody air con for the plant. It’s a needy bloody plant ‍♂ also there are some nutes pre mixed in the meadium, which I don’t think is helping!

Lol ok, so I feel like I’m picking up some subtle hints that flushing is a load of bollocks!

I’ve fed nutes once and I’ve got burned tips and clawing, and I’ve never used any nutes before, so I don’t know! Thought flushing was the answer to my prayers, but clearly not! Lol

I think next grow will be soil rather than this pre bloody nuted coco mix!

I fed it water with a few ml of florakleen now, but oh well! I’m sure the next grow will be way smoother!

Thanks for all the info !
What coco are you using? Just use normal coco.. Soil is the same, it contains food, thus you have to read the plant to see what it needs and how much if any to feed... Plain coco is almost inert.

Anyhow, is that you on the avatar and if so where were you boarding?

I’m using tropic bat mix which contains calcium, magnesium limestone, nitrogen, and guano. I feel like it would be easier if I knew what was in it. I fed a tiny amount of nutes, and now have some burnt tips! Problem is I’m not very good at identifying it’s needs yet!

And yea that is me, And that was in Switzerland, Zermatt I believe. You a boarder too?

Yeah that's why I like plain canna coco, no guessing involved in feeding. Lots of soil guys would disagree but I don't like the idea of feeding a plant a full nutrient profile when I don't know how much of what is in the medium.

Yep, I love the snow but haven't been able to get out the last couple of winters. Hoping to go back up to Avoriaz this winter. :bigjoint:
