Hi guy's

Have seen a Gold Coast/Brisbane growers thread thought id try create a little kiwi thread here for any kiwi growers ex growers ect.

Not sure there are even any on this site worth a try !

Feel free to say HI chuck up your questions current grows ex grows what ever !

I've ordered with herbies every time.. Three times now and first time they came straight through. Second time they came after 3rd package being sent and last recent one came straight through.
The second package just got to nz and didn't come further to I assume customs got them but got no letter or anything.. Happened twice. Other than that 100%success.
But they resend 3 times for free.

Ah true nice to know, Ive always been bit worried about having anything like that sent here.

If you would ever want to sell any seeds let me know also have some i can throw your way just a few left over from my current afghan grow.

That's pretty bad to have 2 packages swiped in such a short amount of time. How was their stealth? The stealth i got from herbies would
definitely stand out in a scanner, i heard of another nz'er ordering from them and his stealth was pretty elaborate compared to what i got.
Seaofseeds stealth was pretty good.

Goatlicker - so you heard nothing at all from customs for the first two times but then the third time they got through?

Interesting..I've been told that the post office don't put you on a list or anything if they do catch you - they just try catch as many as they can in general. And your experience attests to that so that's pretty cool. Know of a few people who have freaked out over things not appearing lol.

Thought I'd give this old thread a bump as it's been very quiet for a while! I've just recently joined and very interested in hearing other kiwis input about grows down here. I'm soil only and try to keep it as organic as possible..

Being org from the UK, it was much easier to buy the right soil type for growing.. My experience since being here is the soils are either way too hot or full of gnats..I've been very disappointed actually.. I now make my own but it takes a while to let the nutes mellow so i do not get burn..

Yeah, seeds are a real womans thing when ya have none. Did without for 4 years until a mate gave me a few that were left on passenger seat in car after someone had rolled up. Got me going again after having an empty tin covered in cobwebs

Potting mix I usually get from warehouse etc but am currently trying Terrazilla mix from hyalite store

Thanks for the heads up mate.. I'm always a little paranoid about going into hydro stores after what happened with SOG (switched on gardener) tho..

That's pretty much what happened to me with regards to seeds.It's pretty much a closed shop out here..

The people I've met tend to hold onto their good genetics.. I've thought about ordering from overseas but just too damn risky with customs etc..

Seedsman seeds bro. Stealth shipping. Arrive usually about 2 weeks after they send them.
