Yes much hotter than ginger although she was hot little minx too .... lolI was always a Marry Ann guy.
YesSo quick question as I always flush using canna...am I wasting my time???
If you feed properly there is no reason to flush. I think flushing has become a common practice due to people using too much fertilizer to begin with. The amount of stuff many people dump on their plants is ridiculous. The nutrient industry has achieved their goal of convincing many people that if they use Big Bad Super Bud Blaster at week five and Super Duper Advanced Big Bad Super Bud Blaster Week six, and then Ultimate Massive Bud Swell Secret Potion week 7, and then flush all that stuff back out Week 8 using their Special Super Hydrated Slick As Snot Finishing Flush Agent for the rest of the grow by dumping twice the pot volume of their solution through the growing medium. So quick question as I always flush using canna...am I wasting my time???
Flushing is simply a stoner myth. Reduce your feed but don’t starve your plant. The last couple of weeks are the most important and making your plant start eating itself won’t do it any good nor get any nutrients out of it.So quick question as I always flush using canna...am I wasting my time???
Remember ... that’s LORD ..... HOO ... HA to you peasants .....lol.
LolRemember ... that’s LORD ..... HOO ... HA to you peasants .....lol.
I don't understand how people believe dumping a bunch of water through the soil flushes anything out of the plant. Where does all that stuff in the plant go? The plant doesn't uptake a bunch of water and then expel a bunch of nutrients. That's not how it works. But it's hard to explain anything to some people when their entire growing experience consists of one plant 'Cannabis' and their source of growing information comes from nutrient companies who's only goal is to sell as many products as they can.Flushing .... the age old bullshit .
First there is tons and tons of threads on it ....
It’s like republicans and democrats .... I pool the flushers as FLATEARTHERS.
First ....
I grow peppers , tomatoes , lemongrass and assorted EATING TABLE plants.
I grow them in containers and raised beds. Do you think I flush those ?
Fuck no.
I do not and have never seen a farmer with acres of plants decide one day to flush “ the fields “ prior to harvest.
FLUSHING is for GROWER ERRORS .... overfeeding .... which leads to heavy salt buildup.
Especially when using synthetic products. You are LEACHING the host medium , nothing else.
You will not strip shit from plant. If you constantly have to or need to flush , it is because of YOUR FUCK UP........ NOT THE PLANT.
By watering only instead ... you still BREAKDOWN the medium problem , just not to the point of excess stripping. The plant will be able to recover by using what excess it stored. And if it is HUNGRIER you can add a slight mix to compensate. That is why it’s hilarious to read a growers nute list with 20 bottles of this and that. No bottle supplement will surpass a DIALED IN GROW ENVIRONMENT.
If you meet the optimal conditions:
Minimum of 600 u/mol of par throughout grow space .
Air exchange
Temp control
Uninterrupted dark
Air movement
Good medium
Proper drainage
Etc.
600 micro mol will ensure good steady growth ...
Of course you can up that .... after 1000 it plateaus on actual returns.
Sun throws approx. 1500 .
I have citrus trees in my yard , and would look like an idiot dumping buckets at tree base just to pluck off some lemons.

If people understood Root Interception, Mass Flow, and Diffusion they would realize that flushing is a waste of time unless they have severely overfed and turned their growing medium into a toxic environment.
Basic outline of those processes. More information can be found through numerous reliable sources.

He seems pissed lolYep .... I bought a box of strawberry’s from a road side grower / fruit stand cuz I was on a road trip and as a gag I mentioned how nice they looked and tasted and said “ so when do you flush your plants “ .... he looked puzzled then laughed.... then we all laughed.
Just flush your turds.
