I would like to add however that our lovely corporate farmers throughout the central valley and a lot in south central Arizona DO flush their fields once per season by means of crazy flood irrigation, around February i believe. This is needed due to salt buildup in their soils because they rotate crops, three cycles per year non-stop, essentially mining the soil and dumping shitty ferts every cycle to make up for the unsustainable process.... so "flushing" is a real thing outside of cannabis industry, but as previously posted here, it's only due to over fertilization and shitty growing habits...
