Magical Butter contraption

I bought one of these many years back (3?) and used it once to make butter to make cookies. The cookies were absolutely horrible. Don't remember if I even ate enough to get high. I then made more butter for fruity pebbles rice crispy treats. Nasty as hell. I should have punted after the first attempt and feel I just wasted good bud.

I'm doing another round (edit: of growing) and am trying to decide if I did something wrong or if I need to just pitch this thing.

Any one use these and a recipe turns out great? Should I try the one where you use moonshine or everclear or something and make gummies?

I have one and use it often. It works well. I make butter and tincture just finished make a couple of liters of tincture. I prefer everclear or diesel 190. However I make moonshine here and there and use that as well.

Are the cookies supposed to taste like shit? I've never had edibles, so I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, but I was controlling my gag reflect to eat them. Maybe I'm just meant to be a smoker with my taste bud profile.

Depends how you make the cookies an how much bud to butter you use type of butter I prefer Amish roll butter or kerrygold butter. My recent tincture I made is stupid strong I used somewhere like 200+ grams for two liters of tincture. So I’m sure it’s bitter but it all comes down to how you make your edibles I generally can’t tast mine. Also how well your bud comes out at the end makes a difference.

I have one and it works really well. Wife and I used everclear and made a tincture so far, and used coconut oil to make something we could use as butter in recipes. Be careful with the everclear. I put the thing on the back porch for 8 hours making that. I am certain the fumes were explosive but I did not want to find out.

When I'm doing trimming, I can just use any small trim leaves that are frosty, couldn't I? I usually trim a bit closer than I need to, but I like the look if it. I guess it's possible I could use that for the Magical Butter thingy.

It’s good I’ve used mine right on my counter for ya couple of years. every time using everything from everclear to full blown moonshine it’s all good.

I use trimmings but mainly use buds I like making tincture with trimming or everything else left over from my plants like fan leaves and stems go to my goats, they love them

Those fumes were nearly eye-watering. Maybe I did not have the lid on correctly.
Hooha with you using buds I bet that end product is really great. I have only used some trim leaves that were given to me with it so far.
