I had planned on mid November if the weather cooperates. Literally you can smell my grow a block away. Its like I'm perfuming a city block Easy grow though. These plants gave me no problems. Thanks guys.

This is why pitbulls get a bad name. No bad dogs, jus bad owners. I rescue pits once a month bc of shit like this. Makes me sick to my stomach. Someone tries to steal your plant and the dog bites them. And it's the dogs fault. Such a shame.

WTF no its the rippers fault for trespassing and stealing. Dont go on someones yard without permission. A owner isnt bad for using their dog as a protection tool. Shit, the dog is naturally protective so its what it WANTS to do anyways. Thats why dogs are the best.

damn i cant get over this comment. Ive never seen someone complain about someone using their dog to protect their property. As long as he feeds him and shows him love it shouldnt make you sick to your stomach. The fact you said "someone STEALS your plant and the dog bites him and its the dogs fault" is just such a weird statement and one that sticks up for the thief, which you said in your own words. Ive personally owned a pitbull and other bully breeds so I see where your coming from but this is just so wrong. A dog that bites a stranger that is on its property stealing is a good dog doing a damn good thing and its the thiefs fault for going there with bad intentions which the dog can probably detect as well

No I'm taking up for the dog. A thief is a thief. Until you rescue over 100 pitbulls that come from people like this you are irrelevant. Until you take care of dog that was shot bc someone wanted to something they shouldnt have. And it ends up the dogs fault. Until you spend upwards of 25 hours a month taking care of pitbulls that got the shit end of the stick. Bc of a bad owner. Why not put cameras up. Instead of training a dog that already has a bad rap to bite someone and protect a fucking plant. Maybe you shouldnt be growing shit if you cant protect it right. And if someone jumps your fence and your dog bites them. Guess what's gonna happen to that dog. More than likely it will be quarenteened and put down. Or spend the rest of its life locked in cage. Bc it will cause enough damage that more than likely the person will go to the hospital which in turn starts the chain reaction that never ends up good in the dogs favor. All because of a owner that used a pitbull to guard weed. So idc what you think or say.

I appreciate you helping the dogs who got the short end of the stick, i really do but im just going to point out that where i live a dog is aloud to bite someone in your yard as long as you have a beware of dog sign. Idk where you live where they put down dogs for acting on its territorial instincts and protect its owners property (which most dogs are more than glad to do) but thats the fucked up part, not letting the dog do what a dog does. Do you realize that basically every breed of dogs we have around was bred for a certain purpose. Most of these purposes include guess what? protecting the owner, their property, their livestock and or to hunt. Dogs are dogs before they are pets, people forget that. Dogs werent even known as pets up until recently, before then they were tools for people. We got police dogs for gods sake. I love dogs and they are my favorite pet but i still respect their predator and territorial instincts. I just cant see why you have such a problem with a pitbull being protective which they are known for. Would it still upset you if it was a breed like a german shepard that doesnt have such a bad rep that wanted to protect its owners property? To me it seems like you are more focused on the pitbull because of its rep. Also another thing, you dont have to train a dog to bite, they already do that when they feel threatened. And coming from personal experience my current dog feels threatened whenever someone he doesnt know walks up on my porch or in my yard. If i let him out he would probably bite them, not because he was trained to but because its how he reacts to threatening situations. Not that i would let him out because i wouldnt want to endanger his life but if someone came into my house damn right id want him to charge the intruder. You also need to realize the OP who posted the pic of his dog more than likely has the pitbull as a pet and not just to protect his plants. He more than likely would just use his dog as an alarm for anyone tresspassing onto his property and not a full blown attack/ guard dog so this whole little argument was for no reason. But still even if he did, in my opinion he would be doing nothing wrong. Shit i bet every pitbull in the shelters would prefer to be taken in by someone whose going to train them to defend their yard (which means they get to run free) because atleast they dont have to shit and piss on the concrete slab they call home and they get to run free in the sun and not get fed the cheapest dog food you can buy and also not dealing with a whole prison full of other dogs. If more people adopted pits out of shelters for protection then there would be just that many less that are put down.

I appreciate the support. When my old man was working nights I got her and she is my protector then and forever. We have beware of dog and owner signs up and she is my princess. Is good with all dogs and all people unless you come to my home unannounced. She's a lot like my old Aussie Shep who would wag at anyone who walked through the door but wouldn't let my aunt out the door when she popped by to grab her baking dish until she put it down. I love my animals and I take precautions so that if she ever felt the need to protect her family and their property she would not be punished for it. She's fam. Thanks again.
