Size of a plant doesn’t mean anything as to flower time, if it’s an 8 week strain it’s a 8 week strain doesn’t matter if it’s a foot tall or 20 ft tall. With that said I don’t see him being done by that time either
it was also suppose to be an auto.....i think your theory is out the window my man.

If it’s got ants you probably have other bugs. Ants eat thrips and aphids not cannabis
Yeah there’s a whole little ecosystem out there. It doesn’t seem to bother the plants so I left it alone. If I cover it up until flowering will it revert once I start leaving it outside again? The December due date is not a big deal but don’t want to waste a ton of time if I can’t use photo sensitive plants where I am at and should just be using autos. But if I can get this monster to produce I’d be happy. Is it odd it hasn’t started naturally at 11 weeks this time of year or is that typical?

very odd. I can't say if it will go back into veg. Throw sheet on it every night until its done to not test that theory

Just to see how it looks at night. Not pitch black but dark. I read that the shortening of direct light is what triggers it not necessarily 12 hours. And days have been getting shorter since germination so that’s what I’m most confused about.

Also the younger one will be 8 weeks tomorrow and that one isn’t showing any signs either. Could it be because I started them after solstice so they are confused? Should I cover 8 week old as well or is it to young? So happy I started an auto I knew at same time that’s 8 weeks now producing nicely in case these other two don’t produce.

Ok I’ll try covering them. Bed sheet might be to heavy. I’ll look on amazon and see if they have any blackout film or something like that.

That’s not dark at all that’s why it hasn’t started flowering. Can you get your hands on a big cardboard box? that would be much better than that a sheet. This other guy your getting advice from is a joke next thing you know he’ll be telling you he’d shoot those lights out with a .223

But If you wanna listen to someone who can’t even pull an oz off a plant be my guest lol

It’s not odd at all if it has that much light at night time

Where did I say anything about inside a box is better than a sheet ( make sure to make two small holes for air) I’m very relaxed bud but it is very annoying when someone that doesn’t know how to grow and has grown his autos to completion with a garbage yield is on here giving people advice( this guy assumes you know what your talking about which you clearly don’t) telling him it’s to big to possibly be a 8 week strain is absolutely horse shit

it was also suppose to be an auto, so what makes you think its an 8 week strain? because he said so? relax snow flake, go suck Clinton's titties. Was trying help him out considering he is in panic mode and wants something to cover it now with. You may be a slob and have a ton of boxes in your trailer, but normal people don't have huge boxes laying around. The sheet was a temp solution. Mocking someone on their first grow, your such a hero.

I never said it was a 8 week but to tell him that if it was a 8 week it won’t finish in that time because it is to big is horse shit, moving boxes can be bought at the store for a few dollars easy solution. Snow flake, slob and trailer! Damn some one is butt hurt. Someone calls you out for giving bad advice and you go start making shit up and trying to be funny, you mad bro!

I don’t have a big box I can use currently. I can get one but the plant with container is well over 6 feet and I don’t know if there’s room for me to place it over top of it because of the balcony cieling being just a few feet above plant.

Ask the douche if you can borrow one of his. Maybe the one he covers his wife with? That might fit.

If I don’t cover would they eventually flower or is it possible that they never flower because of the lighting? I don’t really want to cover every night and there will be a few weekends I am away.

Ok then where is the light coming from is it coming out of your sliding door to the balcony? If so getting a curtain for that door might be enough to solve your problem.
