Sorry to hear that! I don't see why you couldn't get delivery of one on a Saturday. It depends when the printer mailed them out I suppose and the mail lag time. Good luck! Hope it comes tomorrow.

I have something in the mail from IDPH coming today. My luck it's just something saying I forgot to do something on my app...
I had to also designate a caregiver since I can not see well enough to drive and she said nothing is showing coming for her today.
I submitted my app on 8/5, so I think today is 75 days.
Day 75 is when I got the letter asking that I resubmit page 2 of the application but it was ok to sign date and scan to PDF so that's what I did. Good luck! I feel your pain.

Good news or bad news?

Looks like the processing time is getting slightly better, the website is starting to function better. Those can be an indication of them getting their shit together more then anything. I still find it extremely sad that the link to the "faq" section is still broken on the front page.

The one or two times that I have talked to staff on the phone actually has gone really well. I always let them know that I know that its not their fault that they are overloaded and under staffed. I really do think this will improve when we get a pro-medical marijuana governor into office. Not that much longer thankfully.

Medical Cannabis Outreach is legit. They have excellent customer service. Not to mention I only spent about 30 minutes at my appointment and I was done. They submit applications the following Monday after your appointment via mail. I'm not sure why IDPH didn't receive mine until 7/26 but from what I was recently advised, someone from the 7/5 clinic just received there card today. I should be up any time.
That is good to hear. I do want to let people know that if you already have a QI on record, it will likely be much cheaper to just go through your regularly doctor. I only paid 100.00 total for my card. I just asked my doctor if she would complete my forms and she said yes. I have had PTSD for over 10 years so my QI was already on record, I just asked during a checkup. This is a Chicago doctor though (who also is an addictions specialist), being honest with doctors has always served me best.

30 minutes seems extremely fast for a diagnosis. I personally would be nervous that the state wouldn't feel this was a "bona-fide relationship". However, the regulations are getting looser and will continue to get looser provided we have pro-MMJ officials protecting our access to medication. This election is key for Illinois MMJ patients.

I have been trying to find out a way to help people out with paperwork and understanding the program. I have a Masters degree in a Mental Health related field. In about 2 years I will be able to diagnosis things like PTSD. I am really glad to see more places opening that help people out. The Illinois program is pretty restrictive and can be difficult to navigate.

Every single post in this thread from you has some political shit thrown in. Seriously man, this is a thread about time and people want info on how long it’s taking. Keep to the topic and stop being toxic. I get it, we all want this shit to be legal. There’s a ton of things facing our state that are much more important than legal weed and just voting for that alone is silly. Encourage people to do their own research and vote the way they think most aligns with their views. Or, just keep all that shit to a political thread like you should be doing.

I support Knowstigma and anyone else who adds in something a little bit personal or literary or political or historical, whatever--these are human beings, not robots. This is a "forum" after all. The political stuff is really pretty minimal, so please skim over the stuff you don't need. Peace and love.

My timeline so far:
July 19th MCO appointment in Pekin
August 19th called DPH and was told they haven't received my application also called MCO who said they sent it
August 26th called DPH and was told my application was received on August 14th, that the state for you!
Nothing else since then

I have no idea why it took my application so long to get to the state or why the state told me they didn't have it on the 19th when they did. MCO claims they sent it out the week after my appointment. I don't really know who to believe. I just hope my card shows up soon. I will follow up when I get it.
Thanks to everyone who been posting to this forum. I have been lurking the last few months and it's nice to see other people's timelines and it's kept my spirits high during my wait. :blsmoke:

Shout out to MCO, they took care of everything for me. My regular doctor wouldn't help me get medical cannabis so the MCO clinic was a great option for me.

I went to MCO August 30th and my app wasn't received till 9/26. I'm on day 51 since Dr appt
Yeah I don't think we're getting the whole story from MCO. There is a bit of processing that has to happen that's going to take some time. Like waiting for the check we wrote them to clear their bank, then putting some of those funds with our applications. Plus a whole lot more I'm sure. I wish they was more transparent about what happens to your application after you leave.
Anyways good luck with your wait.

I agree. I enjoy hearing people’s opinions and being able to form mine. I fully support freedom of speech. Also, being that this is a forum, there’s many different topics that would be better suited for a political discussion. Such as the political threads. Using the forum as the excuse just backs up my point. We aren’t here talking about the best way to clean a house gutter or what our favorite part of our favorite movie is. You know why? Because that’s a whole different topic. It would have nothing to do with how long it takes to get a medical card in Illinois. Again, a forum is made up of different topics for a reason. Otherwise it would just be a shit show.

Agreeing generally and vaguely, then disagreeing specifically? Wha??? This is not about free speech as a concept nor about whether people can share opinions; it's about letting people go on a tangent, and showing kindness when they do--or else overlook it. You don't seem to agree with that, so don't say you agree and then continue complaining and shaming. When I was waiting for my card--and it's worth the wait--I needed to hear other voices and stories--even about house gutters. Made me feel closer to people--which we all need, and can feel, whether we enjoy their posts or not. Good luck everyone! Peace and love. Happy Sunday.

Medical cannabis will be much better under governor pritzker

Just a silly tangent here, but who do you think mueller will indict next?

I think don junior or roger stone are due for time in prison next
