Outdoor grow in the winter

Hi,
I now have 3 plants outdoors that started flowering 1-2 weeks ago, im growing them in a river using the "swamp tube" technic.
The plants are happy and thraiving, but i have a problem.
Its going to rain soon and it can ruin all my work with mold or the entire plant will die.
I thought about an idea and i would like to know if its possible.
I would take 4 sticks that are about 50-80 cm higher then the planta to make a square and put the plant in the middle, put a nilon on top(with a lot of very small holes, connect the bottom of the nilon to a window screen and thats what will be above the plant to pervent rain from touching the plant. For example: if the sticks are 1.5m long the nilon will be 1m and the window screen will be 50 cm(to allow air to the plant).
Now i cant go to the location often(not more then once a week) so i cant take it of and put it on any time it rains, that should be a perminant solution.
So the BIG Question is, will it work fine?
If any one has a better solution i would be more then happy to hear(other then indoor wich i cant).
Thanks in advance

My suggestion is just put a tarp over them when you know it is going to rain and at night time so it doesn’t rain overnight while your sleep.
