Because it's illegal as hell. I would hate to be made an example like this guy from Oregon that just got 8 years in a Mississippi prison after getting caught with three pounds of weed. Some of us don't need the money that bad and are not going to risk our freedom to make a few bucks. If anyone from a legal state does make a run to a non-legal state you would be advised to rent a car that doesn't have Oregon, Colorado, or California plates. Especially Oregon since the massive glut of marijuana has been on the national news. You can get pulled over just because you're from Oregon. You can argue about the legalities of the stop in court after you've already been sitting in some filthy jail for a year.

I get White Widow seeds from ILGM whenever they run a sale, which is pretty often. Right now, it's buy 10 get 10 more for 110 dollars.

That's $5.50 per seed. I've never gotten less than 4 ounces out of a WW seed from ILGM.

Still 20 a gram in some states. Has been for 15 20 years. No inflation on dank = keeping customers i guess. It dont matter what kind of deal I cut them they charge 20 a gram. I been trying to make these dudes charge less and stop pinching but they don't give a shit cuz they don't have to. Making more money than I am. But fuck half these people are too lazy to get a med card. And bored ass cops want that one last bust before everyone's on that barcoded bullshit. Everyone is too lazy to grow out here in the south even tho med is legal for 12 plants.

Prices ain't dropping, new customers with lower standards are on the rise in legal states. Dudes with zero smoking experience are buying garbage and calling quality a ripoff, thanks to legalization. I couldn't even move dispensary grade shit for 140/oz where I'm at. They only want 60 an 8th stuff.

When dispos start opening around here I hope they suck as bad as they do out in Co/Az or I'll have to find a job. Out west they smoke 20 dollar grams of shatter. In the south they think I'm fuckin with them when I show them that shit. They'd rather pay 80 a gram for some terpy neon goop. Prices ain't goin down lol. Just find the same type of customers you had in the 90s. Ones with standards and a frickin clue what weed is all about. It ain't no placebo cigarette substitute. Placebo people smoking distillate pens ain't the customers you should be targeting with dank. Maybe yall ain't growing dank? Maybe you're shits only worth distilling?

It takes about 7 grams to make a quarter of an ounce, which is the standard buy of the casual smoker and also the most expensive.

By your statement, a quarter would run 140 dollars.

I live in Georgia, which is still and always has been an illegal state with draconian punishment for possession and distribution.

Even with that, the most I've ever heard of anyone ever paying for a quarter is 75 dollars.

In legal states everybody has a friend or relative that's growing weed for fun and almost giving it away. Why pay top dollar for top shelf weed when you can buy it from your buddy for 1/2 the price? People don't seem to mind smoking lesser quality weed if they are saving money. They can roll twice as many doobs, twice the fun.

I was out at a friend's house for a party a few months ago. He had some he had literally thrown the seeds out at the edge of his lawn and let them grow on their own.

Not the best tasting stuff I'd ever had, but it still stoned the hell out of you.

That just seems wild. I'm out in the PNW and prices (especially medical) are steadily dropping. Gotta love it !!

Oh my...somebody has a huge learning curve coming. Flowers aren't what sells BIG in the legal states. Get on the edibles/concentrates wagon or be prepared to blend in and fade from view on that "top shelf". Nobody is really looking up there anyway...there are flowers everywhere....good flowers...(gifting is completely legal...sales are not)....and the wall of >>choices<< of hashes/edibles/pens/patches/potions/and foodstuffs in the retail stores preclude the view whether you believe any of it is any good or not. Many will beg to differ. There's no way to compete with OPEN sales. Folks just migrate to whatever is best...and easiest. I don't know anyone anymore who can command a true market share. A bag here/there...for ever-falling prices...YES...but no slam dunks like in the old days. And it was never $20 a gram here. Always $400 ($14.25 per g) and $100 a q z. Forever. Until Med hit....and then Rec.....and now if you can get $150 a zip yer killing it. (2400 per)

It was fun and profitable while it lasted. (the 90's just killed it here!) Hard times ahead
