rosin is king for sure for makin meds though

With the amount you make you may want to consider investing in vacuum pump, buchner funnel, filters, and the required glassware to vacuum filter your stuff, it would speed the filter process up substantially and save you a lot of time. You can use this same setup with something like mgso4 to ensure that your solvent is "dry" (free of water molecules) prior to putting it in contact with the cannabis, it will likely make for cleaner oil and an easier evaporation.

I used 1 oz of trim and 2 cups of 99% alcohol and made 1.5 grams of some honey oil. First time ever. I have 2 pyrex dishes and one fits in the other so i just kept pouring boiling water in the bottom and when it cooled replaced it with more boiling water.

It was done in less than 3 hours and ready. I let it sit and then did another boiling water to purge anything. Burns almost as clean as the rosin but its a lot easier when dealing with trim and shit. And it goes in my vape pen :D

I am going to get 2 gallons of alcohol tomorrow and get rid of the rest of my trim. 7 oz of larf to go.

For sure, I have nothing against oil, but rosin is so therapeutic to smoke, I have asthma. I give the second squished bud pucks to my uncle and he washes them with acetone or isopropyl.

I bought a $80 prepress mold from lit extractions. I cut two pieces of parchment paper to fit inside the mold. Lay one in the bottom, fill up the mold, put the other piece on top of the plant matter, install the top, squish it down. Remove top piece and top paper, add more green, repeat until you have a large enough puck. Throw puck in the freezer, plug in the plates. When plates are hot, take the puck out of the freezer and squish it.

In 20-30 minutes I can turn an ounce of sugar trim into 4g of beautiful rosin and have it scraped off the paper.

We make rosin about twice a week. The wife and I like it fresh, usually only squish 7-10g at a time, but an ounce works fine too. I can get just over 5g rosin from an oz of bud on the first squish.

I'll save 4 of those squished bud pucks, stack em and squish them again to get another gram out. Then I give a whole bunch of those to my Uncle to wash for himself.

I do that too. I actually have squished them a third time and still got a small amount. It sorta bugs ya to see some stuck in the plant material or bag. After it cools you can usually see a small trace that didn't make it out. Unfortunately as I'm sure you know, it gets a bit raunchier each squash you make.
I did some scissor scrapings the other eve.....super tasty but more brittle. We collect it and wait until there is a small tray full. Stupid me used a 90 micron bag and it blew out the first go...duh. So then I stuck it all ( bag too ) into a 35 micron bag and it worked fine then. That made it a bit more taffy like...still super tasty in my puffco or e-nail rig....yums
Different from flower rosin.....just as good but different.

I know nothing about this banger, or its bubblers, or the point in dome vapes even, post pics when you get your upgrades!
