i would like to go old school remember the kid he was all like i learned it by watching you dad
Damn, you beat me. That one was my favorite!

Edit: I also like the one where the teens are smoking in a car at the drive-thru and end up running over a kid on a bike. I always thought that would make a great beer commercial (I hate beer)...

We Americans are the biggest consumers in the world. So if we are in crisis of course other world markets are sure to follow. We set the standard for all this financial shit. The point I am trying to make is America is and has the potential to be great and remain great. But if you look at us under a magnifying glass you will see a lot of problems and issues that never should have gotten to where they are. How can the Richest nation in the world have homelessnes at the rate we do? Uninsured citizens? The greatness of a Nation is determined on how it treats it underpriveleged!!

I agree with you to an extent. I think however, you will find that analyzing anything under a microscope will show many flaws (i.e. a razor blade). Just trying to help with some perspective.

i take offense to that statement
Sorry! Did not mean to offend. If it makes you feel any better, I was born in Ky. I could have used Montana, Indiana, Florida, any state to make my point. Kentucky and Tennessee was just my first choices due to my familiarity with those places. Do you not believe my assessment:?:

Good point! I agree with you. When everything looks good, no one brings out the microscope. But when the shit hits the fan they bring out the Hubble!!

Providing homes for the homeless and insurance for the uninsured is not what the government is suppose to do, they are only suppose to provide an atmosphere where we can do that ourselves (ie the private sector). The government is partly to blame for the uninsured (regulating health care insurance to make it expensive (see insurance regulation in NJ vs Vermont) and the homeless (regulating labor so companies look elsewhere for low income manufacturing jobs). Just opinions from a captialist.

I think (and its just like....my opinion...man) that every country has its problems, and we are the best of the bunch. Alot of freedoms here, decently low taxes compared to europe (still to high) fairly representative goverment.

In a way I like what you say, because the only way to make this country better is to examine it under a magnifier, see a problem, and work on it. But you have to be carefull with what you change and how you want to change it. The fairness doctrine? Universal Healthcare? You really have to think the fundemental changes these things make to our system of doing things and whether the change or method is for the best.

This really belongs in the politics section

Also, you must remember, what may be fixed to you, may not be fixed to others, and what may not be fixed for you may be fixed for others...

Marijuana is the most used illegal drug in the United States. Nearly 69 million Americans over the age of 12 have tried marijuana at least once.

Marijuana is California's largest cash crop.

Today's marijuana is 10 to 15 times stronger than it was in the 60's
According to the UN's estimate, 141 million people around the world use marijuana.
