Which cob should I go with?

I was originally going to buy auto cobs because I really just don't understand enough about building my own light. But, now I'm looking at Vero 29se and the cxb3590 and there's a chilled one too. I'm looking at these on rapidled, as a kit that I put together. So can some of you that know what's up with these lights point me in the right direction. I want to use them for veg and flower, which spectrum is going to serve me best for this?

That's the problem. There's too much crap to wade through to get to the information I need. Can you suggest a thread to check out?

Yeah I know it's alot the people your asking read all of it.
I hear ya. I'm just a little overwhelmed with with choices. And now this chilled logic that is going to be released soon has my attention too. But I'm thinking it won't carry the penetration that a Vero or cxb will have? I'm leaning pretty hard to the cxb3590's.

3590 are more expensive no benefit as far as output imo buy whatever is in stock in your price range the faster you get growing the faster the light pays for itself the qb96 is cheap and easy strips can be a tiny bit cheaper depending how you build them it's also alot more work so if your time is worth something you have to factor that in for cobs just get something prebuild or a kit

thanks for the bumps guys.

most peopel choose the citi 1212s or the luminus cxm22

hard to go wrong with those, both proven performers and universal in size with each other as well as vero v22 and samsung etc, so you'll get long life out of a heatsink/holder/reflector setup as new chips come down the pipe

Maybe you can consider Mars COB, cxb3590 chips, water-proof and no any noise. You can even put it in your bedroom , Lol

I spent a quite a while researching yesterday and I'm really leaning towards the new chilLed. The only thing holding me back is, I'm not sure if they carry the penetration that a bigger cob chip does. I'm curious if they're kind of like qb's in that department. Anyone know about these?

Chilled boards are the shit. If you can drive each channel individually too like its meant to be ran, it can be such an amazing light.
